Originally posted by Watcher This is a sticky, so Vl won't miss it. About placing chainchomps, to place proper chain chomps where we want we have to find it's object ID. The object ID decides which head chain chomp gets when placed with a 24 18 command. EDIT: Superluigi, make the border on the princess picture in the same color as the bricks. It looks so sticked on as it is now. (edited by jensthecomposer on 08-09-06 06:22 PM) |

I started doing a list like that myself too, it got some more objects. Not only from Bob-omb battlefield.

Nice findings you got there. Try to find mario's geometry data, and you'll be making Super Luigi 64!! | |||

Did you ever care to look at the stickies? There's a thread for this:
http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=228 To answer you question: No,no no nononono....there's only two editors for N64 games, one for Super Mario 64 (not released yet) and one for F-zero X (dunno if it's released yet) And be prepared for a closed thread, as soon as a moderator see this. |

Originally posted by TanksOriginally posted by jensthecomposerOriginally posted by Tanks Yeah, I guess it's possible but to do that you have to reassign the animation and stuff. No one knows how to do that, and to make it 'perfect' you have to edit some animations which is very complicated. It is possible and easy to change the behavior code assigned to mario on each level. I'm gonna try to assign the "yoshi behavior code" to mario and see what happens, but I'm afraid that you won't be able to control him. I believe that because I once tried to change mario's behavior code to a cannonballs and he "rolled away", but I'm not sure. Gonna try out some behavior codes on mario later. About NINJA Patcher, it's said that it can take IPS patches and many other patchformats, but I've never tried it myself. IPS patches are not compatible with too big files (max 16mb I think..), like the extended SM64 rom. I'm hacking the nonextended rom, 'cause I'm rarely edit anything inside the mio0 files and a nonextended rom is easier to deal with. |

Originally posted by Yoster I agree about that. It's much easier and gives much better results. But don't call it hacking, 'cause it's simply not hacking. |

Originally posted by Sypher (anime_player) Yeah, just make sure you're not planning to add objects or edit polygons!! 'Cause that's not possible in the first version. When is the editor coming anyway?? VL said it will be released this month but I doubt that. |

It's possible to rip the instrument samples from some N64 games with "Sound Bank Ripper". Many N64 games got very good instrumentsamples like SM64, Banjo-Kazooie and
Silicon Valley, especially silicon valley!! It got some very nice hammond organ sounds. Another game with very nice instrument samples is Diddy Kong Racing but it's not possible to rip its samples with any software yet. |
