Ok, what the hell is "speaking right"? Is there necessarily a right way to speak? I think that if you talk and can convey what you are trying to say, and everyone else with a brain understands, I think you are speaking right. It doesn't matter if you are speaking in a dialect you grew up with that an Oxford man would say is "not right." Damn, some people are picky. |

My prediction is that if that math system was what we used, some guy would be all innovative and develop the math system we have now.

Better? You mean, you post more. Totally different. The posting more isn't necessarily better.

Originally posted by Kario And all your hacks STILL suck? Geez. Then again, when you're hacking while being that tired, I'm not surprised. I kid. Anyway, yea, am I the only one who had the biggest laugh when I read that his mom called the internet cafe and asked them to tell her son to come home? xD Geez. Quit his job to play games, lives in his mom's basement... probably a good thing he died (not to be evil or anything). He probably didn't have enough money to pay for the internet access at that cafe anyway. |

Originally posted by Lenophis Ok, only really cheap bastards use the overworld screen trick Hmmm, you never knew hex editing before this game? You would have fooled me if you had said otherwise, considering what your other hacks were like. Man, Lunar can really do all that?!? Geez. I just started playing. You're cool, GY. In other words, this hack is gonna be hella fun. |

Well, since the NES one has more screens labeled as "unmodified" then I will have to go with that. Cause then that means the other one is not truly the same lost levels.

Originally posted by Ronin Try the lvl. 3 challenge, dope. That's what I'm doing right now, in fact. Trust me, for those of us that think this is a shit-easy RPG, this is a lot of fun. It actually adds some challenge... along with some annoyance (guessing the wrong egg over and over... and twice in a row in Bowser's Keep!)... however, it is seriously a lot more fun to play the game this way! I think I'll film my last battle or something, cause I just feel like it. I'm playing it on my TV though, because the ROM doesn't like me or something. Here are the basic rules of the challenge (in case no one knows): -Beat the game with Mario at lvl 3 -I'm pretty sure if you follow the above rule, you're ok on this next one, but just in case, you have to have Mallow at lvl 4 and Geno, Bowser, and Toadstool at their original levels. -No cheating. Duh. And of course, that just means no cheating devices. Every other little bug or whatnot in your game cart is perfectly fine. As far as I know, anyway. So has anyone here ACTUALLY completed this challenge? I'll upload the final battle video or something if I ever DO finish this. (the egg game will add some time onto that, though) |

I dunno what the glitchiest is, but the glitches in SM64 are pretty funny, and there is a couple really funny glitches in some SMRPG carts... Namely the one where you can kill Exor with Geno Whirl instantly. That kinda makes that part of the game shit-easy |

Why the hell would Square Enix let him remake it? This breaks a crapload of copyright laws. Petition or no petition, Square Enix is not legally obligated to allow this sort of shit to happen. In fact, I can fully understand why they wouldn't let him do it in the first place. I'm sorry, I would sign this petition if I thought there was a chance in hell for it to be granted, but I know that there's no chance in hell that this will be granted. If anything, the guy trying to get it done will be penalized. This aside, a 3D remake would have been pretty cool. If only SE didnt find out about it... EDIT: oh, this isn't about the company that tried to remake it already? Well, um, yea... Petitions for game requests to major companies work approximately 0% of the time. Sorry, folks. EDIT2: oh, putting SD3 in America is on there too? Okie, I'll sign. But I hate the title "Secret of Mana 2"... they should come up with something better (edited by Kefka on 08-31-05 05:59 PM) (edited by Kefka on 08-31-05 06:01 PM) |

Originally posted by HyperHacker 1) Lazy Shell, Quartz Charm, Safety Ring, Timed Defense, Star Egg, Rock Candy, etc. That is everything that keeps you from dying, and also what lets you do heavy damage to later bosses. 2) Lucky Jewel, Lucky Hammer This makes it so that you can play the egg game in every battle (though you are only fighting boss battles) after you get the third star, and this is what keeps you from getting the exp you need to get past level 3. 3) Only Mario is at level 3. Bowser will be at lvl 8, and Toadstool at lvl 9. 4) You can get 99 FP, unlimited coins, unlimited frog coins if you know how. 5) Group Hug is the cheapest move in existence. (will max out party HP in this quest and fix status ailments) So really, it is quite possible. Apparently the hardest battles in this quest are Yaridovich and Smithy, and I am guessing that Culex is hard too. I heard that you must beat him, because you need the double stat up from Quartz Charm. So yea, it's very possible. |

Para Beetle Challenge may have a 5 star rating, but to me it's pretty easy now. And the 2 Boom Boom thing I was totally prepared for cause I had already beaten 3 up at once in DD's MA hack before. EDIT: oh, and Airship's Revenge actually DOES deserve it's rating (edited by Kefka on 08-31-05 11:02 PM) |

Joke or not, actor or not, you can still write them in. Hell, Michael Moore got a lot of people to write in "ficus tree" on ballots, correct? It was a campaign for a friggin tree! AND IT GOT VOTES!!! Whatever. I'll be voting by that time, so I'll probably write in Roger Rabbit. |

Whoa.... Media, MISLEADING?!?!?!? When did you make this startling discovery, Watson? Seriously, ever since media existed, they have distorted things. And yet, you NEED to have it. It's like a drug. It's honestly comparable to the soma that is in Brave New World. The media will do things like misquote, misrepresent data, interpret data in a skewed way just so it supports a claim, distort information.... it's been happening FOREVER. Get used to it. And yes, about bad science... frontier science always makes it in the news first because the "discoveries" they make always sound SO DAMNED COOL!!!! Anything else that needs to be explained? |

Some people are really mature at 11, others aren't mature at 40. And yet, we need to put a standard age. Therefore, since you are talking ONLY about consensual sex, I will say 18 is the magic number. It's the voting age, after all. Now, the voting age, drinking age, and gambling age probably shouldn't have any disparity, but that's a different issue.

Brazil is one of those countries working hard on alternative fuel research. So just shut up about turning them into a testing ground. After all, people live there. That's about as much as you can say for any other part of the world, really. EDIT: but since the topic is a joke, I'll lighten up, eh? Kill knuck. Leave Brazil alone. Problem solved. Ok, firstly, you didn't need to quote my post to say that. I didn't see anything at all related to what I said, so my words didn't need to be reiterated. If you noticed, most scientists support the global warming theory as well. Not just most. Like, 99% of them. Yet, the guys that get into the news now are those who oppose it. Why? Because they are the most vocal, and they need to be since they are only representing 1% of scientists who deal with global warming at all. I'm going to guess that this is the same way for the issue you mentioned. The 95%+ know they're right, and don't need to say anything. Those that think they are right but aren't have to make a big deal out of it just to have a chance at persuading others. So yea, that's how it goes, folks. Welcome to the world of science in the news. Get fucking used to it quick. (edited by Kefka on 09-15-05 11:31 PM) |
