the glichest mario game i think is Super Mario World for the snes.because one of them is like if you ride a purple yoshi and he is flying go to chocolate island 3 and go to the first goal and finish by flying under it and go up.if done successfully you will drop back done and die instead. So what glichy mario game did you choose and if you want to explain one of the gliches.

The more glitchy is super mario 64 , I've seen a movie of someone who have cleared It in 20 min and he got only 16 stars, by using only glitch, Plus when you got 120 star and you fly in the highest tower and fly into the castle center tower but you will get stuck and you can pass through the 2 back tower

A variation of that can crash the game. Mario 64 is probably it, though, since it was the first 3D Mario game, and possibly the first N64 game.

I agree with you on SMW. another glitch is that in ludwig's castle, when the lowering celing hits the ground, your spin jump makes the "ceiling hitting floor" sound.

Go to here and spin jump.

It should work.

I have a glitch from SMW:

Go to Illusion Forest 1 with a cape. Get to the area with the floating wooden logs with Wigglers on them. Jump on the Wigglers, and keep scrolling back and forth to change them back to normal so you can jump on them again. Eventually, you will get 1UP, 2UP, 3UP, followed by glitch symbols giving you a bunch of points, lives, and coins.

Super Mario 64 had the most glitches, if you really tried to find them. I guess it was the first time Nintendo expiremented with 3-D, so there was lots of stuff you could bypass, such as the neverending staircase.

I couldn't possibly know what game is the glitchiest.. but I'd have to say SM64 has the biggest glitches.
Not that I'm complaining, glitches provide a lot of fun tricks, so long as they don't ruin gameplay.
The Mushroom Kingdom provides a lot of information on Mario glitches. I found Super Mario Bros. 3 to be the most entertaining. I recommend you guys check that section out.

If I recall correctly... You had to try long-jumping up the staircase backwards. Never tried it myself, though... as all these bugs are probably fixed in SM64DS.

It was a long time ago -- found a glinch in Super Mario World where if I eat too many berries at once, I die. Somewhat a long time ago I've experienced this.

I've been sucked into the ground going up one of those absurdly steep hills in SMW. It was in Vanilla Dome 1, I believe.

That makes one for SMW that I've triggered on accident, with none in any other games, so... SMW wins, I guess.

The only glitch I remember was SMB1 for the NES were you could get trapped in those blocks near the pipe. That only happened to me once. I remember it happening in 2-2 but I'm still wondering if this glitch is in 7-2 because they are the exact same level with the exception of more enemies.

I dunno what the glitchiest is, but the glitches in SM64 are pretty funny, and there is a couple really funny glitches in some SMRPG carts...

Namely the one where you can kill Exor with Geno Whirl instantly. That kinda makes that part of the game shit-easy

Killing Exor instantly was a glitch only in some carts?

... well, that WOULD explain why I could only do it once, and only on a friend's copy...

I still say that SMW wins, as it's got the only one I accidentally stumbled upon that was quite clearly a glitch. I mean, Square's given us plenty of shortcuts for killing bosses (FF7's Lost Number being vulnerable to Stop, for example), so I had simply assumed that was another one...

Edit: The Grammar Police strike again! I missed a word.

I was kind of crossed between SMRPG and SM64, but I decided to choose SM64.

And does the minus world work on earlier versions of Super Mario Allstars? It doesn't work on my game pack...
