Those new Goombas certainly trump the old ones, they still aren't perfect, but for being custom graphics...

Notice also that it may hurt some of the SFX for example the buzzsaws. (also note that I have little experience with the patch as I have never used it before

Originally posted by Joshi OMG link to a ROM site! Seriously though, you're gonna wanna remove either the link, or the ROMS. They're not legal, and therefore not allowed on the board. As for a link to the ice board, well it seems as though the servers malfunctioning, so a link at the moment would be worthless. |

I would say, apply the patch, remove the header, and use the hdma home kit. I think you were forgeting to remove the header.

Originally posted by andres Well, I may as well just say this now, you can make your ROM Hi-ROM format too, just open lunar magic, and press ctrl+shift+pagedown select okay, and walla you just turned your ROM into a high-ROM, (not sure if he added a way to turn it back, but I'll keep looking) |

Wow your first post is requesting a ROM... Anyway, what you should do is go to http://www.zophar.net and get a copy of snestool, it will add headers to ROMs for you, and for the record NEVER request a ROM again, as the board stands now, you will almost assuredly be bannned for it...

So if you connect the games by a cable can you trade mario-mon between them? so the names do kinda suck, but I do like the level in the screenshot, even if it does look odd...

Well, you could do what Ghettoyouth did in PITMK and PITMK2 and change the status bar to use all one color. (wouldn't outwrite solve your problem, just make it easier to fix) (edited by Xeruss on 03-18-06 09:38 PM) |

It will take an investment of time, but recommend working around with the pallettes till you get the status bar looking right, it took me a while to do it myself (think around 30 minutes per level) or using smallhacker's statusbar editor program make it all use one pallette.

Umm.. I don't think it would be possible to do otherwise, but are you editing the animations?

That's a poor outlook on things HHH3, if you don't know how to hack something, then you should try until you suceed, otherwise it makes you a bad hacker if you have no drive to learn...

I believe that data resurfaces on occasion, like when you incorrectly patch a file, A glitch will occur and ever tile in the game acts like water, it has happened to me more than once when I accidently patched an .ips to a modified ROM, if it ever happens again I could save it... provided you wanted a look at it...

I don't have a direct link at the moment, but if you search the archive, smallhacker wrote a tutorial about it

Well, first of all, you need to ensure it's using map16 page 18, if you did that, and the background still won't show up correctly, then paste the tiles to the background manually. (Select them from the map16 editor then right-click)
Oh, and finally for the future, import the pallete first please, it hurts the eyes to look at a solid green pallette. |

It'll suck for us all, you were someone who actually put effort into what you did.
I believe I speak on behalf of SMW hackers everywhere, so... Farewell. |

Heh... I assume that was a sarcasm, 10mbps is more than fast enough... why it wasn't working I have no idea, but I suppose I should just be the nice one attach it to this post

Are you using the correct "block acts like" setting in lunar magic? If you aren't the block just won't work. |
