| That is really a great commercial. If people say things like "It's too violent" or something like that and it shouldn't be aired, then they truly are stupid. Unfortunately, we live in an age where people have to be shown such images to be spurred into action. (If they even bother to do anything) I really hope it gets the message across. | |||

| I speak English well. Spanish I've held conversations with others more fluent in the language online without them knowing that it is not my first language. Urdu(similar to Hindi) I understand a lot better than I can speak. Arabic I can interpret the characters but don't know what they mean.(Hopefully that will change soon) With other Germanic languages, I can basically understand the gist of what's going on. The same goes for Japanese. Just things I've picked up through Spanish, reading, and subtitles, respectively. And then there are a bunch of other languages where I know a few words or phrases. | Colleen: I don't mean to sound rude, but I can safely say I do not make judgments about people. And it's only improved my relations with people. It's much easier to make friends because I look at who they are not what they are(a line I use too many times) and as such, I don't make assumptions about them. I think that just because it's common, doesn't make it right. (That's another line I use too often) It may be tough, as it would be for me as well if strangers made fun of someone I respected as well. There are two things I would do: A.) Ignore them and walk away.(or try not to listen) B.) Wait it out to see if they shut up. C.) Tell them how wrong they are. If I'm feeling up to it, I would choose C. It's a little risky, but I feel that people should know the truth rather than blurting out lies and disrespecting people they don't know. |

| My sister bought this for her friend's birthday. It was a really funny book when we "read" it. Those aren't all of them, but it's funny. I especially like Darth Vader's "Piss." line. It's quite a funny quality of British humor. (When they say words at times that don't make sense) | |||

| The title is pretty self explanatory. If so, also include a little information on why you're reading it or if you like it, or other such things. I am currently reading : Jurassic Park(I've been doing so for almost 3 years now) Mobile Suit Gundam(The novel) Neuromancer The Two Towers(I know, it's shameful I haven't read it all the way yet) Still on the "going to read" list : Gojiro Giants of Japan Ok, a lot of the books I'm reading I have been doing so for a long time now. Some of them, like The Two Towers and Jurassic Park I've been meaning to read for a long time and started 3 years ago but have just started to read it again. Gundam I started reading this summer while commuting for summer college courses and Neuromancer I started last month and its really enthralling. Even though I like to read, I can never improve my reading speed. I always take a long time to read books. Unless I need to do it AND I really want to read it, then I can finish it in like a month.(To Kill a Mockingbird, Kitchen God's Wife to a much lesser degree) This pile of books has been stacking up on my desk for a while and I think I should really read them. | All of a sudden, my sound stopped working. I tried listening to music and watching flash movies but I couldn't hear anything. This wasn't just on my earphones, though. It also happened with my speakers. So I checked volume control and clicked the tab to change the volume which usually makes a tone noise. However when I clicked it, the PC speaker made a beep noise. My sound card is an SiS 7018 Wave and I tried removing and reinstalling it, but it just didn't help. Somebody please help! | |||

| The Valley of the Wind, of course! (If you've read Nausicaa, not the anime, but the manga, then you know what I'm talking about.) Spoiler: Through all that shit that happens in the daikaisho, the valley of the wind is still peaceful and beautiful and such. I would NOT want to live in the post apocalyptic world created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara.(Fist of the North Star) Also, I would never live in any of the colonies in the UC Gundam series. Spoiler: We all know that Sides crash. But, only ZZ shows us that even if you're a primitive Moon Moon, you can still get owned by what's going on in space. |
