Meh, that's the only thing I'm worried about, is a load of people going crazy, then killing/commiting suicide/just being crazy... Anyways though, who ever said Satan uses the Gregorian calender? He'd prolly use the Julian if anything (for the record, the 6th on the Julian calender is May 25 on the Gregorian). And why is it nobody payed very much attention 3/3/03 the number of the Trinity? Andres (He was banned cause he thinks Kei was an okay guy; the stuff he did aside. Sucks he's gone, he was a nice guy...)
Grey (Meh, he's Grey, hard to describe him otherwise... )

Don't get your hopes up. Nobody here has yet created a new powerup, the closest anyone has gotten was Bio's Fire/cape mario. HabsoluteFate's SMW Dev Environment is supposed to have a feature to make it easier, but I haven't seen an update on that in a while...
In theory, your idea is currently impossible...

Speak for yourself. I split Mario in 2 so he's got a Shadow Mario form and a regular form, both of which have unique jumps.

Doh, my bad what I should have said is nobodys made any good powerups yet... I saw your Shadow Mario, and even tried it, on top of feeling just plain awkward, it wouldn't interact with the layer 3 water... Kind of sucked if you ask me.

No, you can't just slap a picture on top, you can however design a level with everything you want on the title screen on the first and second layers, then put mario on a row of concrete blocks off the screen (just be sure to have "no vertical scroll" on)

Seriously though, I'd recommend something non-restrictive, meaning, names like Super Mario World Returns(KT's) or Super Mario Escapade(mine) names that don't specificly say, "this hack has lots of castles"
As in, names that don't say it will have one kind of level design more than another... Granted you said it would, but still I recommend non-restrictive...
