Unpredictable. Watch your backs. Or not. Whichever. I want Metal Gear Solid 4 so badly.

Through either LM or Hex editing, I'd imagine.

But, uhh, this was like asking what LM is.

He did it via hex. I managed to do the same thing (And made it flash a few times. ) Although I do not have the information anymore, I am sure someone has the "Nintendo Presents" code traced and up somewhere else, I just don't know who or where...

But it doesn't require ASM knowledge at all, so...

i just entered random values

01,02,03,04,...0A,0B,0C,0D,0E,0F,10,...etc

each one gives you a different sound effect. i wouldn't be surprised if there's a list out there with values and descriptions of each

but here are the ones that were the most interesting (imo):

05 - 1up noise
11 - drumroll
15 - dont remember but i wrote down that i liked it
53 - boss death
54 - yoshi spitting sound (my personal favorite)
55 - distant thunder (?)
5E - another one i dont remember but liked

No, you can't just slap a picture on top, you can however design a level with everything you want on the title screen on the first and second layers, then put mario on a row of concrete blocks off the screen (just be sure to have "no vertical scroll" on)
