you can echo variables without the quotes eg echo $top."Hello".$bottom;

the ISO-8859-1 is the default one, and i suggest you stick with it. It seems to work with all the encoding.

try changing body to the name of the Div tag its in.
so if your div tag is called < div id='textbox' >

they are really ugly colors, and try to make the scroll bar smaller. That reminds me. i have to make a new layout soon.

I know i enjoy the occaisional swear, but schools don't. Maybe there should be a switch where we can replace swear words with regular words. My school has a DDR detection thing which reads questionable words. So i'd like to suggest a swear switch. Something that replaces the text, not the data. Know what i am saying?
