| Jarukoth is lying down, resting up from another awesome battle, when they begin to hear the rioting outside. Shino watches TV, flipping through the channels aimlessly, as Ada sleeps on the couch next to him... Jarukoth: "...Damn it, what's all this noise now? If the crowd wants a good fight, how can I give it to them if they won't let me heal?" Shino: "...J...look at this..." Shino changes the channel to a private channel showing the contents of the security monitor. The screen displays several of the Sim-Battle Arena's finest locked in a battle against a seemingly endless wave of NPC robots... ...Shino jumps up and down like a giddy schoolgirl... Shino: "YES! Nameless personalities to smash apart, and...OW!" Shino's leg gives out. It would seem he hasn't fully recovered from the fight, either... Jarukoth: "...and THAT'S why we don't go out there this time...." Shino: "Aw, I wanted to smash things... So, what DO we do?" Jarukoth: "We call in some backup." Shino: "Who?" Jarukoth: "I've got two teams in mind that may want to see this..." Jarukoth takes out a portable communicator, and places a call... ---------------------------------------------------- Back at the battle, a sudden gust of wind blows a section of the droids away. Out steps the preistess Nimue, her staff folded out into a massive battle fan. Behind her step out a burly war paint clad hunter, and a heavily technology clad dwarf... Krauser: "Well then, doesn't this look like fun?" Durmed: "Aye, lad, it would appear this fight was designed for ye..." Krauser: "...then let's get to it already..." Krauser takes out his gun, a Steyr TMP, and starts blasting the closest robots near him... --------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Okay, Nimue's team. Who else did you call?" --------------------------------------------------- As suddenly as Nimue's team appear, a sudden rush of water takes out another section. The water then returns to the figure of a giggling brunette woman, carrying a massive gourd on her back... Kari: "Hehehehe...this IS fun..." Her two comrades appear, one a dark elf, playing a violin. The other, a red mage with a bandanna wrapped around his eyes... Zabel: "Tell me, Kari...are all you Atlantians so....perky?" Kari : "Nah, just me!  "Jiraiya: "Enough talk...we have a job to do, don't we?" Zabel: "...Yeah." The other two DiEn draw thier weapons, Jiraiya, his sword, Zabel, his polearm, and charge into battle... -------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Who is...that woman?" Jarukoth: "Kari Chailin. She uses water..." Shino: ".........." Jarukoth: "Shino?" Shino: "Huh? What? Uhh....I wasn't picturing her naked or anything! Really! Get off my back, man!" Jarukoth: "Do we have to put a muzzle on you, or what?  " |

| Ah, yes, VG music takes up a good chunk of my Ipod. Let's see 4 good ones (in no particular order): 1) Assignment Ada Title Theme - Resident Evil 4: Well, I have been a RE junkie for years, and something about this jazzy little number just holds my interest. -------------> 2) The Ultimate Bio Weapon - Resident Evil 2: To me, this seems like one big consolidation of all the best music in the game. 7:20 of pure RE bliss in music form. 5) 1000 Words - FFX2: It was a good song to begin with, but the cutscene that went with it blew me away the first time I saw it. Excellent stuff. 6) The Immortals - Mortal Kombat: Not quite sure if this is first from the movie, or the Sega CD version, but it's still an awesome piece of gaming music. OOC: The Artist formerly known as Thresher.  The cork speedily pops off of Kari's gourd. From within it, the crystal clear water erupts forcefuly from the gourd. The water rushes in front of Dejan's attack, extinguishing the flames almost immediately. The water then ebbs and flows around her feet, almost as if it were alive... Kari: "Hmm...seems like someone needs a crash course on the power that DiEns wield..." The water around Kari rises up around her, then rushes at Dejan forcefully... |

| Jiraiya: "Ice3!" Zabel: "Fire3!" Jiraiya / Zabel: "Antipode 3!" The dual element spell collides with a big chunk of the advancing robots, slowing them down, at least for a few moments... Zabel: "Our team will handle things here. Nimue, take your men and go help out Team Grey at SB Arena C." Nimue nods. The others could handle things here, and Team Grey seemed like they needed a hand from the sound of things... Nimue: "Alright, let's get moving!" Nimue's team dashes down the hallway to where Team Grey is combating the large wave of NPCs. Krauser ejects the empty clip from his gun, and slaps in another full one, just in time to provide cover fire for them... Krauser: "...'sup..." Kari's explanation had almost distracted her a bit too much, letting her arm be singed by Dejan's heat beam... Kari: "Damn, that's hot... Alright, buddy. It's on now!" "Water Shark Blast!" The water gathers together in front of Kari, and forms into the shape of a large, snapping shark. With a barely audible growl, the water shark speeds at Dejan in a kamakaze-like manner. |

| "Kenjutsu - Kogetsu Zan!" [Sword Art - Crecent Moon Slash] Jarukoth channels some extra energy through his sword, increasing his slash radius. He then slices through the ninja's sword, and most likely the ninja as well. At that moment, he hears something being brandished and thrown behind him. Jarukoth quickly realizes that these are real ninjas, and tend to take a more methodical approach than most of his other opponents. In other words, he couldn't rely on the sharingan as much as he usually does... Jarukoth rolls to the side, and stimulates his BioArmor's energies, removing the poison from his body... "Holy Heal!" |
