What I don't get is why Zelda has the title of 'RPG', while Metroid doesn't. But then you got the whole "What is an RPG" debate on your hands, where in almost every game you take the role of someone... Even Mario.
Maybe it's always been "If it's an overhead game, it's an RPG", but there are many exceptions. I've always had my opinion as: If you fight enemies for money and/or experience points which can contribute to your character's statistics, then it's an RPG. What do you guys think?

I've never considered them to be RPGs, but magazines, Nintendo of Australia and many others consider them to be so... Pretty stupid.
