| OK, Final Fantasy Legend III.... yep, that ol' Gameboy game... So, I've beaten Chaos, I've just gone to the future. I went to that futuristic town and got what I needed there. I went to the town hidden in the graveyard as well. I picked up that extra party member. I went to that undersea lab and picked up some radio thing and was told to go to Pureland or something. I didn't pay much attention to that convo, but maybe I should have. I have plundered all of the sunken ships. I have been to that town with the syndrome in all th time periods so far. My question is... where the hell do I go next, and in what time period? As a side note, I can't fly yet. |

| I think the staff lineup right now is fine. If you were to remove anyone, it would be those that haven't been here in forever. One thing that I find puzzling though is that the number of admins (12) outnumbers the number of full mods (6) 2 fold. Which seems very strange. You'd expect it to be the other way around. Other than that, I think everything's fine... of course, there have been a lot of admins do NOTHING in recent months, so maybe we need a slight restaffing... but for the most part, the ones that HAVE been active have been doing a good job. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Yea, and don't brush this off just because I'm a spammy n00b who has more wasteful posts than anyone else: Ok, first off, let's look at one of the saddest forums in the board: Mario's Dead Forum OK, yea... let's look at what's in this topic on the first page alone (oh wait, there's only one page): -21 polls (18 of them dead, the other 3... meh, they just need not be there... and I made one!) -About 10 other topics which have "your favorite [blahblah]" in the topic title. Most of these are dead. -Topics that get maybe about 10 posts a day if lucky -The same crap over and over again (often there are repeat topics) Well, my suggestion as to what to do with this sad forum is... move it into General Gaming. Yep, there's no point for it being there as far as I can see... there's not overloads of nice Mario topics there. If anything, there's topics of desperation that are just being made to try to keep the forum alive (that's what I made my poll for ). So... I say move it.The FF Forum is in a similar predicament; although it may have more useful and interesting topics, it doesn't get enough posts per day to stay up. It too should be merged. If a topic arises about Advent Children or something that gets really popular in General Gaming, it could be temporarily stickied. And I say temporarily because we all know that topics like that are "flavor of the week" topics. Which brings me to my next suggestion. One Legion had suggested at the old board to do this, but the feedback hadn't ever really been that specific or understandable, even. So, here goes, on behalf of Leg and me, assuming Leg hasn't changed his mind in the last month... "Flavor of the month" forums, so to speak. There will be hot topics every month, right? Some of us want a debate forum, but since every time it's been suggested it's been shot down, I'm going to give up on that. But there are current issues that could be discussed in full length and could all have their own forum. Right now, a good example would be E3. There's a ton of topics in General Gaming about E3 and the games/systems being shown there. Everyone wants to know about something different. So, you could have a forum temporarily dedicated to E3, and you could have seperate topics to please everyone. You could have a new Zelda topic, a Dual Screen topic, a PSP topic, a San Andreas topic (though it's not being shown at E3 for some reason), etc. Some people might even want to know all about KH2. And since Popstar goes to it, he could be the temp mod or whatnot. However, it's kinda late for that now, but maybe next year. Other topics that have been hot in any given month are Iraq, and in a few months the Elections will be a big topic, and then there are always various fads that take place that people make 500 topics about. A temp forum for each new fad or major topic that doesn't last very long could be very good for organization and even activity. At the very least, with the switching of the forums every month or so, it would force the admins to be more active on a regular basis. Now, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I got banned for suggesting all this, but oh well, so be it. I just thought that maybe things like this could help the board out a little and increase activity, but perhaps even if they were implemented, they wouldn't. The first two would at the very least clear up some space and perhaps decrease useless topics. Well, figured it wouldn't hurt to suggest, so there you go. |

That is one of the things that is bad about this place; the atmosphere that if you make one stupid comment you're banned.
