I didnt read it, but I suppose it could work for your problems with Ozma.

http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/final_fantasy_ix_ozma.txt

Good luck!

The problem with Ozma is, you can kill him at level 1 (done that), and lose to him at level 99 (also done that). He's 75% luck. Bascially, Auto-Life is required. If high enough to survive Curse, protection from slow (Auto-Haste), poison (not required, but helpful), confuse, and if you use physical attacks, blind. Use attacks that use set damage (Thievery, Dragon Crest, etc.) or really high damage attackings (Shock, Flare, Holy, etc). You'll beat him eventually.

As for me, I can help with any game in the series except FF3 (memory is fuzzy,) FFX-2 (not that far into game) and FFXI. I'll try to answer anything I can.

I've come up with a possible theory that could maybe be done in FFVII.

I need to know if this would at all be possible to do. I'm leaning towards a "No".

Here's the deal, I have two Bahumat Summon Materia's. Now, if I were to equip both of these Bahumat summons unto one person, and pairing both with different Supportive Blue Materia's, would they both take affect? For example, let's say I have Counter - Bahumat and HP Absorb - Bahumat. If I get attacked, would I Counter in Summoning Bahumat and absorb HP at the same time?

If this is possible, it seems like it could add a whole new chapter to the customizing of Materia combos.

I would try and figure this out myself, but I'm currently going to the Underwater Reactor on the second disk and can't really think of any way to test this out myself.

First off, there is no Bahumat materia, it is Bahamut. You cant magic counter with a summon.

I dont know if it would work, I have never even considered it.

So I spelled the name wrong, sorry I can't remember the spellings of the many summons off the top of my head. And I wasn't being specific as in Countering with a Summon, just giving an event.

And it does work, I know that for a fact.

Very cool.

Woah, dont worry about it.

I dont know if that would really help me near the end of the game, but during the beginning it could prove usefull.

Yeah, I'm not sure of any good combinations you could use. But the simple way I tested it was paired two Elemental Materia's to someone's weapon and linked one to Fire and one to Ice, and they both were under the Element Attack Status.

Yes, I'm not stupid, I really don't know what having a weapon that deals Ice and Fire damage would accomplish.

But hey it works.

it makes your battles with monsters easier if they have elemental weakness. however, i have learned that traditional elemental weakness (ice, fire, lightning) is useless when you make the final run into the end and start battling bosses.

I know I know, but attacking with the Ice element, and the Fire element at once? Is just weird, them being completely polar opposites to eachother.

Short answer: no.
The counter takes effect, but the counter doesn't trigger HP absorb cause it's not a counter effect. (Just tested it with Choco/Mog). Only by entering the summon command will it trigger the HP absorb, or whatever your second pair is. It's probably some flag stored that determines it. *sigh*

I guess it's only possible to add mulitple Elemental attack affects and Added affect attacks to weapons by having multiple of the Materia equiped to someone. Oh well, there's still some good combinations that can be made.

i had a fire-ice sword in FFX and the effect of the sword didn't cancel out...so, i figure the same thing would happen in the other FF# games. yes, it should seems that fire and ice should cancel themselves out but things such as ice fire can exist right? well..it did in sailor moon

FF8 question(s).

Should i do all the side quests (such as getting Bahamut, Cactuar etc.) before going into the Lunatic Pandora for the 2nd time, (when you use the Ragnarok and smash open a hole)?

Or will i be able to do it after I do whatever i do in the Lunatic Pandora?

Isuggest you do it before getting into the Pandora. If you do it now, you have access to your ship. If you go into pandora, you will have to do a bunch of things. If you chose to go in the Pandora, you wont be able to go back. When you get to Ultimicia's, there will be a few chains, to get back on the world map you take the middle one. Your airship wont be there, so you are in for a walk. Just get everything over with now.

I'm way too lazy to figure this one out for myself:

In Final Fantasy IX, what is the order for Ramuh's story?

OK, Final Fantasy Legend III.... yep, that ol' Gameboy game...

So, I've beaten Chaos, I've just gone to the future. I went to that futuristic town and got what I needed there. I went to the town hidden in the graveyard as well. I picked up that extra party member. I went to that undersea lab and picked up some radio thing and was told to go to Pureland or something. I didn't pay much attention to that convo, but maybe I should have. I have plundered all of the sunken ships. I have been to that town with the syndrome in all th time periods so far. My question is... where the hell do I go next, and in what time period? As a side note, I can't fly yet.
