Well, I was hoping to go to Northwestern's school of journalism, but there's a few things getting in the way of that.

1) I'm not gonna have a shot at a scholarship.
2) I'm moving to Cali, so I'd have to pay for housing or room and board if I went back to N'Western.
3) Less than 45% of the applicants make it, so I don't even know if I'll be accepted.

I'm looking at other Midwestern places... but now that I'm gonna be in the LA area, I should start looking out there.

EDIT: oh, and if not journalism, then I wouldn't mind being an English teacher. Even in California. Actually, in California, they are so desperate for teachers that they are giving people insentives to go get degrees in education and whatnot. Lots of oppurtunity to be a teacher in that state.

Well, I don't see the point in the ACS really... however...

I do agree entirely that Ace does not act like he owns the board even though he does. On IRC, he once told me that he didn't think Kario should be banned. I told him that I disagreed, but then I also told him that what I thought didn't matter. It was his board, and he makes the rules. However, he seems to back off too much, and let everything be in the hands of everyone else. If it's his board, he should step up to the plate and take a swing now and then, so to speak.

Well, I try to do my part in making it enjoyable. I don't try to be a jackass, at least.

But even if this place isn't enjoyable, that doesn't excuse Ace for sitting around watching the place go to hell, does it?

How about everyone tries to make it more enjoyable, since that is apparently the issue, and then Ace tries to step up and be a leader again instead of the owner who sits around and watches everything?

Yea, I've gotten over it... I was just stupid whenever I posted that... we be living in Pasadena... so I'm ok with that. And geeo, I'ma HAVE to get a job sometime or other, because my parents aren't paying ANY college tuition... they refuse to. So, I either have to hope I get a full ride somewhere or get financial aid and then pay off whatever I have to pay... yep, probably the latter.

Well, I still run cross country in the fall. Have been on varsity two years for that. Surprisingly, I was on varsity track for 2 mile first year, but this last year... I didn't try out. :\

Yea.... so I'll be ready for Cross Country next year... hopefully... and I'll be the manager for my dad's bball team... yea...
