Hmmm, I've had problems much worse than this recently, but I am not gonna make a topic on em...

Anyway, what you could do is:

1) Even though it's easier said than done, DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS OF YOU. BE YOU. DON'T FAKE YOURSELF SO OTHERS WON'T THINK YOU'RE A FAKE.

2) You must have a pretty shitty high school... is it a big high school? Are you in extra curriculars? ECs help ya find people who could appreciate you for who you are. And, if there is not one soul in that school who appreciates you for who you are... then you probably haven't met everyone in that school yet

3) You'll have a fresh start in college, yes. And also, college is where the smarter people go, mostly. Therefore, perhaps they could have a better understanding of the fact that you're not fake... make friends in college, I guess. *shrugs*


Well, there's other stuff, but important thing is you be you, and you shouldn't care what the hell jackasses think about you. Or anyone thinks of you, really.

I like Bust-A-Move and Snood (almost the same game, really ) more than Tetris, but I'm not bad at Tetris. My best for 2 min mode is 33 lines, so... I don't think 41 is absurdly high... best ever for non-timed was 220-225... I forget exactly how much it was... Bust-A-Move's multiplayer is more fun though. As is Snood's. And in the Snood (the version that was out 2 years ago, anyway), I was able to, without saving, get 500K+ pts. on Puzzle Mode. That is one of the few puzzle games I can officially say I kick ass at!

Well, I'm diabetic [type 1] and my humoglobin a1c count is about 7.5, so perhaps I can help.

Anyway, here's some suggestions:

1. Does she have an insulin pump? If not, she should get one. They kick ass.

2. She should make sure that she is fully aware of exactly how many carbs she is eating at a time. She should look at the package and count if she doesn't know.

3. Assuming she carb counts, she should make sure that she always has her ratio of insulin:carbs right. If she is still running high after doing that properly, she should increase her rate [ex: if she has a count of 1 unit per 10 carbs, and she is running high still when following this, she should make her count 1 unit per 9 carbs... etc]

4. If she has the pump, she should increase her basal rates for the time of day when her numbers seem to be most high...

Well, since I don't know a lot about the situation, I can't help much more than that. I would need to know all the things she does currently concerning her diabetes care. Has she had keto-acidosis yet? Or has it not gotten that bad?

Well, actually, with diabetes care, a lot of it is making corrections on your own. The doctor will give you ideas, but you need to be counting the carbs and adjusting your rate on your own, not just when the doctor tells you to. Also, why couldn't a doctor be a she?

EDIT 3: If she does not carb count, but instead has a set insulin rate, then she needs to absolutely make sure she always stays consistent with how much she eats, and doesn't eat when she's not supposed to.
