Um... I think you'd need to be more specific. Do you mean how do you extract the graphics from SMAS to a 4BPP .bin file that lunar magic can reload into SMW? |

Hey! I just thought that since no-one seems to check the memory locations thread, i'd start this one. This thread is just to tell everyone how to control Ludwig's jumps while fighting him. Change offsets $D157 and $D158 to FF and FE respectively to make Ludwig do a ninja-jump type spin, or 0E to make him do a neat jump where he jumps up while in his shell and then emerges from it halfway up without spinning, before landing normally. I hope this information helps people with their hacks! EDIT: If this helps anyone, or if they find other bass battle data, Could they please post here? (edited by Darkflight on 02-10-05 02:51 AM) |

Hey! Wow! One thing, though. Where is the offset to control whether you can slide into Iggy or not located? Other than that, INCREDIBLE!! |

Hey! Hmmmm. I'll have to check the gap w/ the concrete blocks. I started to fix up the errors you guys have pointed out. I've also fixed the gappage and Igg'ys platform. The orangy-yellow platform from SMB3, well, I'd need to change the ASM to fade those out too. I'll correct yoshi's rescue message too, Thx. The pokey level I probably forgot about, so that would be why. I don't know what caused the screen problem, but I will look into it for you guys. Oh, and i'll remove all those unnessesary lives. |

Hey! I heard about all the talk about reassembling ROMs, And I remembered that I had downloaded a set of SNES game creation tools. One of them was a combination of a compiler and a linker that produces .FIG headerless SNES ROM images. It used to produce .SMCs, but because they were identified as .FIGs, the extesion was changed when outputting. I'll post the program when I get home. If someone could update the .bat file when I upload the .zip to use a goodSNES-like program to create a header for the ROM and rename it to xxxxxx.SMC, I think that this set of programs could be used to modify the ASM without using a hex editor, which would make it easier for newbies and veterans alike! |

Hey! Yes, but this is a Reassembler. Still, you are correct. You would need a good disassembler for this, but this set fof tools is just for once you have all the jumps figured out. I'm no programmer, but for a disassembler, couldn't you set the program to read the different types of jumps and produce the right labels for them? I know there are a lot of bumps in the road, but wasn't it the same with ILBPE? I guess with time people may be able to do that. I don't know myself. |

Hey! Thanks for the reveiws, again! About carbon-copy levels... I haven't had time to change them, so that is why the problem arises. i'll change it ASAP. Kristopher, I sent the ROm to you at least twice, so why you aren't getting it i don't know. is there some sort of size limit for files at gmail.com? |

Hey! Yes, I did star sending full ROMs. They are just less of a hassle w/ email. I'll post a yousendit! link soon, but I can't gaurantee it will work. Thanks for the warning, Luigi-san. My next release will hopefully be much more bug-free. |

BTW, just like mario's layer priority value, is there one for every individual sprite? Pirhana plants use it, that's for sure. Maybe the values for yoshi and p-switches in the original SMW were changed too, to stop the display from becoming glitchy? Would that idea work? |

Hey! Thanks! I've done a lot of work, so most likely I accidentally messed up the exit settings for that level. I'll look into it. Thanks for telling me this! BTW, how does the title screen look? I'm wondering if it needs to be changed. EDIT: I've changed the name of the Game to "Chronicles of The Mushroom Kingdom Vol. 1 Final Vengence". How does that sound, because I'm thinking of making a series. Oh, and I'll post a new update to the hack soon. (edited by Darkflight on 02-15-05 04:07 AM) |

Hey! I'm just Wondering about this. I hear a lot about these subjects, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, right? |

Hey! I've played the hack, and it is INCREDIBLE! About the toads... What if you made a silent on/off switch object, the pasted it directly under the text box? You could control the taod's talking if you changed the ASM slightly, right? Just an idea. I can't wait until the next release. |

Hey! I was thinking about my Hack, and I remembered something about fixing the MARIO/LUIGI START image to fix the S's palette, but I can't find the thread that had it. Could anyone please tell me the offsets and values I need to change? Thanks. |

Hey! Ummm... I'm not a good hacker, so I'm just wondering what XYPPCCCT means. I know some of it.. X flip, Y flip, Priority, priority, palette, palette, palette, but what does T stand for? Should I just leave that blank? Thanks for helping. |

Hey! I was thinking... In Lunar Magic, Why isn't there some sort of annotation tool? It would be neat if you could set some tiles to display themselves as being transparent in LM, and adding little icons to Map 16 tiles? That would help when you are making conveyor tiles. |

Hey! JJ, you never know. if something like screen-scrolling pipes make it into mainstream hacks, not just DWTLC, then the feature might come in handy, or having the ability to make hidden custom blocks with block inserter, then annotating tham to look like they are actually there, but transparent. Also, adding arrows to the pipe corner tiles would let a person know at-a-glance what direction the pipt moves in. Hyperhacker, that is kinda what I was thinking. |

Hey! I was wondering... In mario world reconfigurator, why do sprites F6(I think it was...)+ has the name unused, but still have various bit combinations set? Are these sprites safe to delete and overwrite? |

Hey! Thanks for the heads-up. I was trying to make a poison mushroom, but thought it would be good to ask. Thanks for telling me. |
