| All right, I'm glad that you accepted, Koneko! Good luck to ye...it'll be a challenge. Also, sorry if the intro is a bit long...I always get carried away with 'em. ----- Heavy footsteps echoed through the deep, dark halls of the Netherworld as Ghost picked his way through its countless passages carefully. His quarry had abruptly left the Sim Battle Arena after his latest episode, but it could not hide from him forever. Ghost could track his target's soul to ends of the earth, and even into other dimensions. If this was an escape attempt, it was quite a pathetic one. All Ghost had to do was find the appropriate portal to the world of the living (which usually lead to a graveyard or something of the like), and he could appear as close as a yard to his quarry. What's more, his prey was now in a remote area, quite far from other living. Now he could act quickly and unbothered like he always intended. However, as Ghost turned a corner into a narrow corridor, he realized that a change of plans was probably in order. In front of him was a pack of nearly ten Netherworld hunters - horrible, cat-like creatures with sharp claws and poisoned hooks that mindlessly preyed upon any undead they saw. Ghost could easily subdue maybe five or six, but ten would take effort he didn't feel like spending. As Ghost turned around in search of another passage to take, he found another group blocking his way. He was trapped between two groups of vicious foes! Of course, he could always use that to get rid of them... No, it would be safer to just escape. As the Netherworld hunters closed in, Ghost summoned his trusty staffspear, Doomsday, and stuck the pointed end into a small socket on the stone wall. Instantly, a dark blue portal opened before him, which Ghost stepped through. Traveling from the Netherworld to the world of the living was a dizzying experience even to Ghost, who was practically resistant to such effects, but he was fast getting used to such journeys. Ghost stepped out of the other side of the portal a moment later, having no idea where he was. The landscape was nothing but barren, rocky flatlands for miles. One thing for certain was that it was night, and he was thankful for that. He also realized that someone was close by, as the tip of his spear glowed green |

| The dagger came at Ghost...and passed right through him! Ghost had seen it coming, and had phased into his spirit form to avoid the physical attack. Ghost floated backward, away from Lapis, and returned to his corporeal form. Now Lapis could probably see Ghost clearly. He wore his usual turquoise-blue-black costume (OOC: view my profile for a good description...it always take like 5 minutes to write it out), and in his hand held a weapon that was a spear on one end and a clawed staff on the other. The weapon fitted onto Ghost's arm like a glove, and could rotate 180 degrees if he swung his arm in a special way. Ghost held his weapon to the side of him, and pointed down. As Ghost examined the person before him, he laughed wickedly. Ghost: You living are almost all alike. So easily startled. Ghost's staffspear turned into a puff of blue smoke and reappeared on his back. He didn't intend to fight...not yet. Ghost: Don't bother with the rapier, combat with me would be an imprudent decision. I only seek an answer; where am I? As Ghost waited for an answer, his weapon flashed green again. It was seeking Lapis' soul. Though most people carry their souls inside them, some take the precaution of storing it somewhere else...Ghost liked to know the location of the souls of people he made contact with. | Spaky, Spiky, and Speeky looked amongst themselves and Team Gemini in genuine bewilderment. Spaky was the first to come to his senses, and was next to Grey and Spiky in the blink of an eye. Spaky: Hey! You think you can just attempt to cook us one minute, and then care for the well being of Spiky's feet the next? Are you crazy? Are you some sort of crazy magical janitor man?! | BBBWWREEAAAAOOWWRR!!! Kyle and Blue spun back into existence at the receiving warp pad! Once they regained their balance, Blue looked around the area and sighed happily. It had been a bit since he had been home. Kyle, however, wondered how anyone managed to call the place home. They were in a dark, stone chamber, lit by torches with green flames. Many other dark halls branched off into yet darker rooms. It was a very eerie place. Blue: Good thing that velociraptor saved us from that robot. What do you think that was about? Kyle: I'm not sure...but if they have anything to do with this treasure, then I think we'll find out soon. So, where are we? Blue: Ah, right, almost forgot. Welcome, Kyle, to the RWP! It's an entirely different forum, by the way. Kyle: Forum? What's a forum? Blue: I don't know. I think it involves physical beings that write our fates on keyboards as if it were a game, or more correctly, an RP. Imagine that, huh? Kyle: I think you're crazy. Blue: Thank you, I think you're crazy too. Now, follow me as we descend into the heart of this underground lair. We'll find my old chamber, and we can pack some equipment. Blue led Kyle down a series of passages for several minutes, until they eventually reached a blue room. In the room were several stacks of paper, posts Blue had previously made, and a single picture hung in the middle of a bare wall. The picture appeared to be of a strange blue door with four indistinguishable shapes in front of it - Blue's avatar. Also, a slogan was beneath it - Blue's sig. Blue walked over to a closet, and started rummaging around. Blue: So, what do you think? Nice place, huh? Kyle looked at a bowl of punch that was set on a table. Blue happened to glance up as Kyle stirred it a bit with the spoon. Blue: Oh dear God! Don't drink the punch! Kyle: Why not? Blue: It contains chemicals that are toxic to over 1,134 life forms. It doesn't affect me, but you might not like it. Kyle: Whatever you say, man. Kyle tried to position himself in the middle of the room, away from everything else. A few minutes later, Blue returned with a backpack slung over his shoulder, and he tossed Kyle a strange green bag. Blue: Take this. It's a void pack, a bag that can store an infinite number of items. Very useful, just don't put one void pack inside of another or it causes a rip in space or something. I've got all the food and water we'll need for several Wednesdays, not to mention any kind of adventuring equipment you could think of. So, you ready to go on this quest? Kyle: Totally. Blue: Then, let's go! To the jungle, our first destination of eight! And to fight some nightmare plant or whatsit! Kyle and Blue returned to the warp pad, and waited a few more minutes before using it, to allow time for Phantron to leave. They really had no way of telling what was happening at the other side... |

OOC: Man, I'm loving the way that Tuxydon and Cyberaptor are starting to 'compete'...and Kirby Star's getting stuck in the middle of this  .----- Cyberaptor: Better? Quite. Cyberaptor's right claw flashed yellow, and a long metal pole extended from his gauntlet! Once the metal rod reached two feet, it stopped, and shot a small bullet forward. Less than a millisecond later, a beam of electricity came out of the pole and attached to the bullet, which was then suspended in place in the air seven feet from Cyberaptor, forming an electric whip! Cyberaptor waved his claw back and forth, and the whip wrapped around countless shyguys, zapping them and swinging them into many more of their allies, which in turn got zapped as well. Finally, Cyberaptor crouched with his claw forward, and the end of the whip exploded into electricity, knocking out several shyguys in a group. Cyberaptor retracted his rod into his glove. Cyberaptor: I believe I have defeated twice as many as you have, Tuxydon. One couldn't really tell, but behind his helmet, Cyberaptor was grinning. |

| OOC: Yeah, Jackson's crew is some of the 'villains' in this story, along with Phantron...unless she turns good real soon. But I see that Zerodius has got a good plot going with her good side liking Snipes and all...it could go places. As for more antagonists, I might bring in Ghost, though I think he'd mostly just bother Kyle and Blue (or anyone else that joins them...if that happens.) Also, I believe that the whole island should be described now. I'd like to get a picture in soon, but you'll have to go with a description for now. The very center of the island is mostly just badlands, and in the middle of this is the mine. To the west is the Grapevine Jungle, the first part of the journey. Above that, at the NW part of the island is a large, sandy desert. Between this and the North part of the island is a small temperate forest. The North side of the island has several parts - one gigantic snowy mountain, with a rocky canyon just at the base, and a big cavern level inside of the mountain. At the NE part of the island is a big beach, with a smaller island farther to the North. Next to the beach, at the far East side of the island is an enormous trench, with many clouds set above the base. It's sort of like a 'sky world'... SE is more badlands, like in the center of the island, but this part is more grassy...and stormy too. Lots of tornados and winds storms... At the South part of the island, all the way across of the icy mountain, is a volcano. It was mentioned a few times, I think. And finally, at the SW part and just next to the jungle is a big radioactive wasteland, with a suspicious mechanical city built to the side of it. We'll all be kept busy for some time. And also, about the Radio Ring/Nightmare Weed. The Nightmare Weed is a big plant monster at the heart of the jungle that guards the second 'key', but it is extremely hard to fight without the Radio Ring that Jackson currently has. The Radio Ring grants the user an attack ability that is effective against plants. Finally...about the treasure...naw, I'll let you form your own theories about what it is, if it even exists at all... ----- Blue and Kyle walked out of the chamber silently. As they came to the end of the tunnel, they saw Vincent listening in on someone...though they couldn't see whom. Blue: Sheesh, this place is busy all of a sudden. You don't think we have competition now, do we? Kyle: Well, news of an enormous fortune could spread pretty quickly. If we're serious about finding it, we should leave these guys alone. Blue: Yeah...or we could put them at a disadvantage! You know, point them in the wrong direction, slow 'em down... Kyle: We don't know that they know that we know about any treasure. We could just leave through the back of the mine. Blue: I have a better idea! We take that guy in the armor over there, and question him! Kyle: Blue - !!! Blue: Hey, you, over there! With the face! Blue walked over to Vincent. Blue: What're you doing here? You didn't happen to hear anything about a treasure, did you?! DID YOU?! |

| OOC: Man, this is weird; both Emily and Ryan are names of people in my family. It constantly jumps out at me when I see the names together!!! ---- Emily: Death? Don't worry, I wouldn't take things that far! Emily noticed Ryan charging up, and decided to pull her own technique. She quickly stuck one sword in the ground, reached into her bag and pulled out some green powder, which she sprinkled on the area around her. When the powder touched the ground, white flowers began sprouting up, forming a large circle around her! As long as she stood in the ring of flowers, her power, defense, and speed would be magically heightened. The ring would last for four turns. After this, she grabbed her sword again. |

| Ghost laughed at the light sword she held in her hand. Ghost: So, you insist on a funeral, do you? So be it. His staffspear reappeared on his right arm, along with a translucent shield that appeared in his left hand. Ghost: I'll make short work of you, and be on my way. Take this! Ghost charged at Lapis, spear pointed forward! However, just as he was in range of her and had his weapon pulled back, ready to strike, he phased out again! Ghost passed right through Lapis and materialized behind her, where he turned around and really swung his weapon, hoping to hit her right in the back for medium-high damage. Ghost expected Lapis to be caught off guard and block his feint, leaving herself open from behind. |

| OOC: Spaky was over by Korra, Ami, and Speeky, so I assume that Grey meant to attack Spiky. Yeah, I know, the names get confusing...sorry. ---- Speeky: Gemini Arrow. Yeah, it was unpleasant. Speeky subconsciously rubbed his side, where he had a burn. Spaky: Well, if you two are ready...we can continue! Instantly after Spaky finished saying 'continue', he had jumped right at Korra! Spaky hoped to land on his head for medium-light damage, and if he did, he would then jump to Ami, and then back to Korra, continuing the process at a super speed until one of them dodged, blocked, or counter-attacked. Meanwhile, Speeky puffed up, exposing his spiny skin, and waited for the exact moment that Spaky stopped his attack. Once that happened, he would shoot hundreds of tiny spines in every direction! They all did light damage, but there were many of them and were hard to dodge. Also, they could get stuck in skin, and prove to be an annoyance. What's more, there was a slight chance that they could induce poison, if they made contact to skin. It was possible that some would make their way over to Grey... Meanwhile, Spiky saw Grey's mop coming just in time, and stepped backward to dodge it. Spiky: Oh, yeah? Let's see you mop without this! Spiky took the bucket of water, and ran across the room! | Fudging. Awesome. Movie. I loved every bit of it. The suspense, the story - and I don't know why you guys didn't, but I cared about the characters. I think they were pulled off well. The tripods were freaking tight. I loved how they vaporized the people, and their clothes went flying into the air! What really got to me in this movie was the panic that the situation induced to the population - I mean, people just went crazy, like in that seen where they're driving through the mob of people, and the boat scene. "It is true. What angered me was the fact that Spoiler: "THE SON MANAGE TO SUR-FUCKING-VIVE A GIGANTIC CATACLYSMIC BLAST THAT KNOCKED OUT THE US FUCKING ARMOURED BATALLION! Was he really that close to the explosion? You never see where he goes, he just walks over the hill.I think that the vehicles were more likely to be harmed than he was. And, after all, we don't know his story. ANYTHING could have happened. "What bothers me is... Why would the aliens even bother to check if anything was in the house with their little telescope thing, they could of easily flattened the house without any problem like they had been doing for the rest of the movie. Other then that it was okay. Nothing great IMO but okay." Weeeellll...the aliens really seemed to be going for efficiency. Meh, why waste lasers on an empty house? 'Sides, it allowed for a pretty suspenseful scene, when the characters were moving around the basement, trying to stay out of sight. The only thing that bugged me was how the aliens died. I mean, yes, it makes perfect sense, but why would they let that happen? I would think that rule 101 of exploring foreign planets would be to wear space suits for protection, ya know? |

| With her heightened speed, Emily managed to backflip out of the way of Ryan's attacks, and land close to the edge of the flower field. Seeing her opponent's new armor, she figured that attacking with swords might not be very effective, and sheathed them. After this, she crouched low to touch the ground, and whispered an incantation quietly. Suddenly, a gigantic spike of rock shot out of the ground beneath Ryan! Normally it would deal heavy damage, and move slowly, but because it was created in the flower field, it would deal very heavy damage and it moved at a medium speed! Hurro, the falcon, swooped by Emily and cawed loudly. Emily: No, it's all right, I don't need any help yet! |

OOC: Ah, I see you've done some reading  ! Yes, that's right, Holy does next to no damage to Ghost. The sword, of course, will still hurt though.----- Ghost was struck by the sword, but it had no Holy effects on him. Ghost turned to face Lapis, now burning with a strange blue fire. Ghost: That won't be working here! Ghost backed up a few steps, and then waved his right arm, causing his weapon to spin around. Once his staff was pointed forward, he aimed it straight at Lapis, and cast a spell! Instantly, an illusion of Lapis's greatest fear appeared next to her! It would continue to haunt her until she realized that it wasn't real, probably buying Ghost time to perform a more advanced move. |

| Emily held her hand out to the psychic ball, and a translucent green shield appeared around her for a moment. She was hit by the ball, but received little damage, thanks to the shield and the flower field. Hurro cawed at Emily from above. Emily: You think he's reading my mind? Hmm... Emily tried not to think of her next attack as she reached into her bag. Whatever she found in there, she decided, she would use to attack immediately. Her hand found a smaller bag, full of a type of powder, which she pulled out immediately and swung forward, all in one motion. A powder was sprayed in Ryan's direction that would induce sleep if it made contact with him. If Ryan became sleepy, he would not be able to attack until he was attacked, or until something woke him up, of course. |
