| OOC: Since most of my usual characters are busy in RPs, I'll be introducing new ones for a while. Meet the first! ----- A falcon soared over Ryan while he was meditating, looking more like a cloud than an actual bird. When it passed him, it circled around, taking a closer look at Ryan, and then flew back in the direction that it came, toward a wooded area. Nothing else happened in the field for several more minutes. The owner of the falcon (or friend, rather - she considered the bird a friend instead of property) kneeled on a high tree branch at the edge of the forest, peering out into the field. The girl, who was maybe 17 or 18, had long brown hair that was set neatly into a ponytail, and green eyes. She wore a green shirt with a sack slung over one shoulder and a bow and quiver over the other. Also, on her belt, she had two light swords. Below this was a simple beige skirt that stopped just above her knees, and just below her knees started her long brown boots. The falcon swooped low and landed on a branch right in front of her. Upon landing, it made a series of caws, which the girl understood completely. Someone was in the field, quite aware of them and waiting for an appearance. She swung off of the branch and headed out into the field, with her falcon friend flying high above her. She didn |

(ooc: You may have noticed this is a new character of mine too  )*Ryan watches the girl come towards him. He looks in her outer mindscape. Knowing she was equipped with a bow and quiver, two light swords and a sack. He wasn't sure how many arrows were in the quiver or what was in the sack as these were either not in thought or too deep in thought. Ryan slowly stands up, causing the purple haze around his arms to form into a sword and shield. These are empowered with his mind so they constantly use his energy, although only a very little amount. He continues to stand in the middle of the field with his weapons held defencively, waiting for the mystery challenger to draw closer* |

| *Ryan held up his sword into the same position as before* "My name is Ryan. First allow me to purify the land here though... I don't want a death here as it's a friendly fight" *Ryan gathers some energy and releases it over the field. Now if one of the players die, they will be brought back to life but will have no memory of the battle. Ryan also begins to charge Hard Illusion* For reference: Illusion - Ryan creates an illusion of anything he wishes. The illusion lasts until the opponent realises that it is a fake The actual attack I used: Hard Illusion (1 post charge) - This is a much more powerful version of Illusion as the object or thing made becomes completely real. This doesn't fade away if thought of as a fake though. |

| OOC: Man, this is weird; both Emily and Ryan are names of people in my family. It constantly jumps out at me when I see the names together!!! ---- Emily: Death? Don't worry, I wouldn't take things that far! Emily noticed Ryan charging up, and decided to pull her own technique. She quickly stuck one sword in the ground, reached into her bag and pulled out some green powder, which she sprinkled on the area around her. When the powder touched the ground, white flowers began sprouting up, forming a large circle around her! As long as she stood in the ring of flowers, her power, defense, and speed would be magically heightened. The ring would last for four turns. After this, she grabbed her sword again. |

He also stands there with a brand new suit of armour, sword and shield, all made out of mythril. Ryan sheathed his sword and placed his shield neatly on his back. | With her heightened speed, Emily managed to backflip out of the way of Ryan's attacks, and land close to the edge of the flower field. Seeing her opponent's new armor, she figured that attacking with swords might not be very effective, and sheathed them. After this, she crouched low to touch the ground, and whispered an incantation quietly. Suddenly, a gigantic spike of rock shot out of the ground beneath Ryan! Normally it would deal heavy damage, and move slowly, but because it was created in the flower field, it would deal very heavy damage and it moved at a medium speed! Hurro, the falcon, swooped by Emily and cawed loudly. Emily: No, it's all right, I don't need any help yet! |

When the spike reaches as high as it can, Ryan forms a medium powered ball of psychic energy in his hand. He aims both his hands down towards Emily and fires it at quite a high speed.* | |||

| Emily held her hand out to the psychic ball, and a translucent green shield appeared around her for a moment. She was hit by the ball, but received little damage, thanks to the shield and the flower field. Hurro cawed at Emily from above. Emily: You think he's reading my mind? Hmm... Emily tried not to think of her next attack as she reached into her bag. Whatever she found in there, she decided, she would use to attack immediately. Her hand found a smaller bag, full of a type of powder, which she pulled out immediately and swung forward, all in one motion. A powder was sprayed in Ryan's direction that would induce sleep if it made contact with him. If Ryan became sleepy, he would not be able to attack until he was attacked, or until something woke him up, of course. |

| Ryan was completely exposed to Emily, who then also had the advantage of heightened power. She thought for a moment of a good technique she could use on him... But she couldn't bring herself to attack a sleeping twelve year old! It just didn't seem right to her. | When the tremors began, Hurro swooped by Emily and cawed at her. Emily: But I can't! He's - Hurro cawed again, a bit loudly this time. Whatever he said seemed to make sense to Emily, and she agreed to make her move. Emily flipped into the air, with her swords drawn, and landed again with her arms pointed downward, causing her blades to get stuck in the earth. She was perfectly balanced in a handstand position. Emily focused, and her swords turned brown - and then, there was an earthquake! The field shook violently, but Emily held her balance, building up to the final part of the spell. Finally, one very fast moving shockwave shot out of the swords and grew outward in all directions, tearing up the ground as it moved! Normally, it would deal high damage to those on the ground, but since it was created in the flower field, it would deal very high damage! As the spell finished, Emily flipped back onto the ground, slightly exhausted from her work. The flowers shrunk back into the earth as she landed. |

| (ooc: The dream has started now, and I need to quickly explain about when you can perform actions during them. Whenever the writing is italic, that's what Ryan is dreaming. The piece of action under this is where you would dodge/block then attack me (In this case there are two parts). Whenever you attack Ryan, his mind gets damaged, not his body. Ryan's dreams also count as this turns attack, so afterwoods he cannot attack with a normal attack. I'm not sure if you understood this as it is a rather complicated ability) *Ryan's dream suddenly starts on the moment the shockwave shot out of the swords.* Ryan is trapped inside the depths of a volcano. His dream self instantly creates a cold haze around him to protect himself, which is his usual defence against attacks... *Ryan suddenly screams, still fully asleep though, and is completely ungulfed in the purple haze. This acts as a shield to the shockwave but since it's his psychic power his mind is affected rather than his body. The arena now also becomes to rapidly get extremely hot, as if stuck inside the volcano from Ryan's dream. Cracks open in the field and start spewing lava slowly* ...In doing this, Ryan thrusts outwards, causing the haze to spread over the volcano. The lava freezes and becomes stone almost instantly... *The haze around Ryan spreads over the arena, causing an icy chill to spread through the air as he created Telekinetic Ice. The ice is roughly -30 degrees celsius, and all the cracks in the ground freeze up, making large, sharp, stone stalagmites form. This final event breaks Ryan's concentration, causing the shield underneath him to break. Ryan awakens as soon as this happens, and smacks into the floor before he can stop himself. He slowly gets up* |

| OOC: Yeah, it took me a minute to get it, but it's actually pretty cool... ----- As the field started breaking up with cracks and lava, Emily was careful to watch her step, but she couldn't really do anything to attack, having just recovered from her earthquake attack. Hurro started cawed worriedly, and circled around the two fighters with more speed. Then, when the field grew cold, Emily created another green shield around herself, this time sustaining it for a longer time. The iciness still hurt her, but left no status effect... Emily saw Ryan wake up as she dispelled her magic shield. Emily: What was all of that? Were you making all of the lava? It had to be you |

| *Ryan is hit by the earth damage and is tripped over, landing hard on his back. Because he had his psychic shield over him the whole time, his mind has been getting damaged badly, wih almost no harm to his body. Mind Power - 88% Mental Life - 74% Since his mental life is over a quarter down, he begins to have a light headache, which is his mind trying to rebuild itself. It will increase by 3% per post until it goes over 75%* "I'm sorry... I have almost no control over my sleep..." *Ryan creates a small orb in his hand. Inside the orb asmall orange and red flame begins to spark to life, until it almost fills the orb. Ryan throws the ball of Pyrokenisis at Emily, and a smaller one at Hurro. Both orbs have temperatures of 400 degress C, cannot be put out with water, but can be suffocated (But you don't know that)* Pyrokenisis - stored in small orbs, this is a fire created by the mind. The caster can choose what properties the fire has including ways it can be extinguished, temperature, size, if it has weight, anything they like about it |

| Emily instinctively created a shield of water magic in front of the fireball as it came toward her, which didn't have any effect! She was hit for full damage. Hurro cawed angrily and flew out of the way of the fireball aimed his way in time to dodge it. Emily: Oh, you want Hurro to join us? You should watch out, he has a bit of a temper problem. I hope he didn't take that too badly... Hurro swooped down at Ryan, bringing a trail of powerful wind behind him! As Hurro neared Ryan's head, he pulled straight back up, causing the wind to blow Ryan's way, and possibly knock him over. Emily shot another arrow to Ryan, this time aimed just barely over his head, so it would land behind him. If he moved too much, the arrow could actually hit him, and deal much more damage... |
