I was raised Trekkie, but have recovered from it.

Doesn't really matter to me. I like Star Trek's much more realistic [sounding attempts to explain/] explanations as to why what does whatever, and so on. Star Wars has the cool people and weapons. Most of the others...bleh.

Star Wars, not the new ones but older ones we're all great.

A close second is Starship Troopers I loved that movie.

My favorite was John Carpenter's the Thing.

It was just cool, and appealed to me more than all the others out there.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope beats all other movies. How many times do I have to say this?

The original Star Wars Trilogy. I mean nothing comes close. Who needs Jar-Jar, when you got Jabba?

Two words: The. Matrix.

Not the sequels, the original. It's rather sad that both follow ups to one of the greatest action movies ever let up to be dissapointments. Revolutions is better named Revoltions.

Saw some bits from Starship Troops, wierd movie...

Star wars is the only one I can think of the top of my head, but it's quite unrealistic for an Sci-Fi Movie.

*shrug*

I dunno...

Bukaroo Banzai in the 8th Dimension is GREAT.

OH!!

Does the Matrix Trilogy count as Sci-Fi? If so, I'm up for those.

Has anyone ever seen it? I heard it was about kids getting killed all over derry, scary for the little ones indeed.

I put my vote on Star Wars, I would have also voted for Star Trk as well, but I guess I have to pick what I like most. I liked Star Wars Episode II, but that's not all I like.
