Well would you look at that. Apparently a few people in Thailand did know about the earthquake and still nothing got done:
Well that's just great. (edited by Zarathud on 01-07-05 01:28 PM) |

If we did donate 39.50 per citizen it would be 1,185,000,000. Which would be nice but realisticly. No country is going to donate that much. I'm tired of everyone being so harsh on America. What is the deathtoll up to now? I've heard its about 180,000 but I haven't confirmed this... |

Ziff: We do not. Trapster: 1. Japan has a very strict caste system. 2. Not every giant earthquake means a tsunami, though. Even if there was an earthquake, if there hadn't been a tsunami in three centuries, would you REALLY expect one? |

I thought we surpassed America. Then again, at least we're guaranteed to pay up (at the expense of no tax breaks in the next budget though... yeah, we're TOO generous). |

Tax cuts are stupid Colleen. They only help the rich in Canada, because, if you look at Ontario/Alberta. The standard of living has gone down for the people in the low income bracket, which has dramatically risen due to the tax cuts which force us into paying for more and more once government services. Yeah, Trapster, Kyouji is right. It is VERY hard for white men to make it anywhere in Japan due to the still standing caste system. |

Yeah, but you KNOW that they're going to say that they were going to do this, this and this for the middle class in the next budget but couldn't; and we'll never hear about those breaks ever again. | |||

Well, there're a hell of alot more aussies dead now. And over 1000 missing, so I dunno. Australia's donating $200,000,000 a year for 5 years, so yeah. And a shit-load of fundraising events have been going on lately, and they rack up quite abit. But anyway! *Goes to bed* |
