Yes, this has been mentioned a bunch of times before, including by myself. Post options ('disable HTML in this post' and 'disable smileys in this post') would be nice to have; that's all. |

yeah, I know. what would work would be to run the <textarea>'s contents through PHP's htmlspecialchars() function, which would have the exact same end result, but would keep all <s and >s and such intact. | |||
