Check it out. Edits all sprite attributes with a convenient dropdown list for selection, and sprite data can be exported to a 20-digit hex code for copying or sharing. Includes some neat sprite creations.

This one is better than Sprite-o-matic considering the features, although since Sprite-o-matic isn't finished, I can't say this is better... except for now.

Good editor. One that I will surely be using.
*makes a new sprite*
Yay!

EDIT: And for the unknown sprite commands.

1: Set this to make the sprite jump into a shell and turn into a Koopa. Used primarily for shelless Koopas (duh!).

Ummm... that is all I found so far...

wow! this is really a neat tool! thanks, hyperhacker! I would really appereciate it if you could figure out what those unknown thingys in the top-right of the window would do. maybe a key that doesn't interact with a keyhole or other sprites, and can be stcked, like the SMB2 mushrooms! that would rock!

Glitch Report!
If you click "Open Rom", then click CANCEL:

RUN-TIME ERROR "32755"
Cancel was selected.

Though you oughtta know...

Otherwise, EXCELLENT work... hope to see more in the future!

EDIT:
Suggestions!
For the "Edit Other Stuff", please include (if you weren't planning to already)
-BMF's Debug Features (as checkboxes)
-Mario Jump/Gravity Settings
-Fireball Settings
-Things that otherwise would require a Hex editor.
I used to have a txt file saved with several of these address recorded (from the old ver. of board) but lost it in the transfer to my new PC...

Another neat feature would be to include ASM editing for individual sprites (you already have the pointer, and you obviously have some ASM skills! Maybe including such an feature would help introduce ASM to people who have no clue about it (ex: ME!), and make it more convienient for those who already know the language...

Weird, I put in an exception handler specifically to avoid doing that. ...Er, let's try un-commenting it.

Alright, I uploaded a new version with that fixed, and a cool new feature that expands Lunar Magic. It doesn't do a whole lot at the moment, but it's pretty neat, and rather convenient. Also, here's a screenshot.

The 'other stuff' will include pretty much all the little tweaks that LM doesn't cover, such as making fireballs go straight and enabling the debug features. I don't intend to add any sort of ASM editor though, that's rather complicated.

Wow, this editor is way beyond awesome, HyperHacker!

I've just downloaded it, but there are some questions I gotta ask.

1. Does the current version support configuration of what happens to the sprite as well as Mario/Luigi if he spin jumps on it? If this configuration exists, is it possible to configure a sprite to hurt Mario/Luigi if he spin jumps on it? If the program doesn't support a spin jump configuration for each sprite, do you think you could implement it in a future version, please?

2. Is it possible to make faster versions of line guided sprites (especially platforms, just like the red ones from YI)?

Anyway, keep up the great work!

The screenshot shows everything it can edit. There's still a lot of unknown stuff (and even some of the stuff that's not under 'unknown' is still not quite figured out, but did have a visible effect). If you can find the settings for Spin Jump, I'll add them, but I'm pretty sure it's just based on the other settings. If it can be jumped on it dies, otherwise you bounce. (The ASM takes care of things such as giving you a powerup if it's a Mushroom, Flower etc.) It looks to me like Yoshi jumping on them works exactly the same way as spin-jumping too, since it has the same effect.
As for making them faster, you'll need to edit the ASM for that. (Dunno which bank it's in yet, though. )

I tried setting the "Don't interact with Mario" check box, and the setting won't stay, it keeps reseting back to the original setting that it was on.
(I'll just use a Hex Editor for now)

But otherwise, great work.

Two things I find missing:
1: Palette editing. (One of those graphics text boxes might be, but still)
2: Change the page the sprite uses (The same byte as the palette)

How's that setting work?

Hmm, I noticed this didn't seem to work, but I figured it was just the sprite itself. I'll check that out...

Yep, the're not labled as Gfx page & palette, but they do exist (the're both under "Graphic Byte 1").

Yeah, it edits all attributes whether I know what they're for or not. How do you get those from it?

BTW, before anyone asks: No, this program won't be able to open secrets in LM, at Fu's request.
