When I was trying to map Make Eggs, Throw Eggs, I discovered a very peculiar feature of Yoshi's Island. Each time a room is entered/reentered, the spots/flowers/pebbles change in position. It even exists in SMA3. How will Island Magic handle this? (Animation soon)

Are they all completely randomly placed, or does it look more like different static positions? Very hard to tell from that animation, but I'm leaning toward "completely random."
Editors may only be able to do a few things with that ... such as enable\disable the feature, and\or generate static maps for it.

At the time I was mapping the end of 1-1, there was a flower floating in the air above the corner of the green platform. The next day it was gone.

Now that I think about it, this randomization also applies to those colored cement blocks. They keep changing colors from bronze to gray to blue.

What program or editor did you use to make it do that?

It looks good, but is it really trying to show something in particular or it just random things not meant to make sense? Just wondered b/c my friend said it looked like Mario was blowing up and then the Kamek thing appears before it says,"The end"

The main part of the animation (made with Jasc Animation Shop 3.0) is the changing ground. I simply took screenshots of Yoshi in different poses. I love Kamek so I put him at the end for laughs. No special tricks were used. For a good example of the color changing blocks, go to 3-5: Jammin' Through the Trees. However, this does not seem to apply in 4-8: Hookbill the Koopa's Castle. All blocks are gray.

That's good, Pearidian. I just remembered something about the game to tell Chaosflare.
There is this level,2-1,I think. It's the one where you jump on a big jumping board and you go up to this part where the screen starts scrolling, and these blocks start falling like in Tetris and they try to crush you. Is this like a special generator or something and how will it be used in the game? Also,does he or anyone know if the introduction part after the Yoshies are talking is a level too or what is it?

Correct, Lespna1, 2-1: Visit Koopa and Para-Koopa is the only stage in YI with the Tetris like feature. The blocks start as sprites but become part of Layer 1 when the hit the ground. Strangely enough, the coins aren't sprites but part of Layer 1. In 1-2: LOOK OUT BELOW!!, The normal coins in the Incoming Chomp's path are sprites. I do not know if the talking intro before the Welcome to Yoshi's Island! stage is a level or not, but I have a feeling it's just an animation using Yoshi sprites and flowers to create a 3D sense. If I remember correctly, the BG is pure white. Plus, the Yoshies are at different heights. Then again, I could be wrong.
