| hmm...a very personal subject...a subject that I believe will come out the wrong way for this situation i believe. I think you are better of getting to become good friends with her and then at that point, asking her if she does than doing it now. I think a girl hearing that kind of question from someone who is an acquaintence gives away the fact that the person asking it as ulterior motives for talking to her, etc. in short, don't ask and get to know her more... |

Becoming "friends" is easy as you don't have to declare your feelings, but you're shooting yourself in the foot in the long-term. Just be straight-up. Wedge your foot in the door by chatting with her about a few school subjects, homework, events, common friends, etc. and then ask if she has a boyfriend. That'll pique her interest. But God almighty... at the end of the day, don't keep your "feelings" to yourself. Otherwise she'll just dump you in the "friends" category, and when you ask her out, her reaction would be "Lets Be Friends." Urgh... trust me on this, men and women view relationships VERY differently. I am not kidding. Women do not date best friends and absolute strangers. Keep yourself in the middle grey area if you're striving for optimum success. Oh yeah... pushing her emotional buttons is a sure-winner in winning a lady. If you're good in provoking emotions from people (perhaps by asking mind-blowing questions, or speaking intelligently, or you're just plain funny), chances are better. Ah, you know what to do. But just go easy... and I REPEAT, do NOT become mere "friends". You'll confuse "success" with friendliness, and that'll fuck up whatever chance you have left. |

As said above, don't become mere "friends", it IS shooting yourself in the foot in the long run (also said above). If you are that nervous about asking her out, find out who here best friend is, hunt down her best friend. Then ask her best friend if this girl you like so much has a boyfriend or not, and if the best friend asks you if you like her, tell her your feelings. That way, there is a nice wedge in the door curtisy to her best friend. Trust me if her best friend knows, word will get around you like her. |
