I'm having a small problem with the file when I export my tiles to GFX or ExGFX, whenever I am working with YY-CHr or TLP, I copy three tiles that I want to use say like poles or small wooden blocks, whenever I save this file as GFX or ExGFX file it will save it above 2 MB... when I try to import it to LM it refuses it immediatley saying the file is to large. I know that normal GFX or ExGFX files are supposed to be at least 10kb and under. can someone please explain to me why tile layer pro or YY-CHr is saving the file so big ?

thanks

What was the size of the original file? You should be using regular GFX files for SMW and then editing them.

Well I had opened up TLP or YY-CHr, I open up the rom and copy the tiles that I need. I then go to file>save as change the file from roms to all files , then I rename it to (ExGFX9A).bin and click save it then generates the file at 2049 kb and this the problem that I'm having can somepne please tell me what I'm doing wrong ?

Make sure that the file only contains 128 4bpp tiles

It sounds like you are trying to load the ROM as a exgfx file. I think you have to export all the graphics using Lunar Magic, which creates small .bin files. You edit those in your tile editor.

(I'm not sure on the details, so maybe someone more knowledgeable can fill in the details)
