Get both.

You could probably use a Wii emulator to play it, but I'm not so confident that a notebook will be able to handle it

I seem to be having an issue with gimp 2.8. It works fine whenever I'm root - i.e. sudo - but whenever I run it as... me, I get an "Unable to open a test swap file" error. I googled it, but all I've found was a headache. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, changing the folders in Preferences, but neither worked. Help!

I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 and I have no intention of getting the Windows version.

Serious. It works in the tile editors, so I figured it might work here too.

I was afraid of that. There might be something in the help file that'll lead y'all on the right path, if there IS a help file. Even fumbling around with the keys might help.

LOL, and here is one of the disadventages of having a notebook...

It's likely that your notebook has a scrollbar somewhere. You might wanna check "Mouse" under the control panel, if you're using Win 7.

It's likely that you'll need to find the full .iso. There are programs out there that can help you rip an SMG1 disc, but I think you need the right drivers. I tried once with my copy of Kirby Air Ride, but the disc couldn't be read, let alone ripped. You might have better luck with a 12 cm disc.

Just wanna know one thing now: Is there any way to get Wendy O. to space out her "ring launches" without having to go into the ASM?

(Probably like most hackers) but, can I find such things as, How much weapon energy you use, and, the Boss A.I too?

If you're using FCEUX, I suggest that you use the Code/Data Logger and search for, hopefully, any green values.

EDIT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Also like the boss AI, when I use the Code / Data Logger, what color code an I looking for? (it all comes back to colors!) I'm guessing it would be located in the enemy bank, so I could probably look through there with the stripped iNES rom.

Blue is just for data, green is for code AND data, and I think yellow is just code. I'd advise you to be careful when editing the green values since there's a chance you could screw something up. Good thing there's an undo function in FCEUX's hex editor!

Actually, no. Not stop them. Just space them out so during that she won't be just "waving her wand" near the end of the battle.

You know: shoot, wait, shoot, wait, shoot, fly away
or is this ASM related?

I don't intend on fixing it in any way, shape, or form. Sorry if I'm gloating

What I meant was that when I increased the number of hits, the boss room would constantly shake during the next to last one. Boss constantly follows already.

Yeah, the only problem is that currently gimp only works when I run it as a superuser. Otherwise it gets mad at me.

Did you have the same issue with previous versions?

No. Then again, I just started using Ubuntu 13.04 as well. It's a long story

GIMP2_DIRECTORY=~ gimp-2.8

Hmmm... Looks like I don't have that directory
