Wow! Those graphics are pretty colorful. This looks like a hack I'd look foreward too. But I thought this hack was already finished. How old is it?

The regular SMW backgrounds look bland with the graphics. Otherwise the rest is looking good.

Black outlines may not look the best to some, but they improve the visibility of your sprites (and add a classic feel to them)...

On screen 3, Toad's sprite, on its own, looks fine. However, on screen 4, it doesn't stand out enough because of the background... Sooo, blacklines is the easy way to get things to look good. Otherwise it's updating all the sprites and making sure the backgrounds don't get in the way.


I agree with Stifu about the outline of Toad's sprite. It does sorta stick out too much. And Toad's head looks a little odd. It's too vertical.

I'm pretty sure this is relevant. Can someone explain how exaclty would you go about discovering ROM Addresses? I'd be happy to help contribute to finding ROM Addresses for various things, but I don't know how. v_v

Meh... Playing Guitar Hero is nothing like playing a real guitar. It's just a bunch of button presses. Playing a real guitar is far more fun, and playing songs in an actual rock band with an electric guitar is even better.

I suggest download a different SNES emulator, maybe SNES9x? Then see if it still lags.

I suggest editing the palette to acquire the 'Toad' feel. The colors it is using right now look too 'Mario'ish if you know what I mean. I'd say put some colors like purple and pink in, but it's your choice.

Also, I think you should change the unrevealed path's colors to dark brown. Blue doesn't look right. :\
