Citation Needed- where some dude could show you a whole page of calculus to prove his point, but it is considered completely irrelevent if you can't find an idiot in YouTube comments saying the same thing. Lolocaust - Adolf Hitler's gift to internet forum members for lulz. It doesn't matter that 6 million people died from starving, poisioning, and sufficating, as long as it was all done for lulz. Also, Godwin's Law has nothing to do with deities. It was defined by and named after Mike Godwin, and means that when you're in a discussion, the first to invoke the Nazis, preferably in some sort of comparison, loses the argument. Because if you have to resort to comparing your opponent to Hitler, you obviously ran out of better things to say. Godwin's Law is hardly that, even. It's the stipulation that the longer an internet discussion goes on, the chances of a comparison to Hitler and/or Nazis approaches 100%. |
