I'm just curious who is planning on buying the 3DS when it comes out.

That may be your current situation, but it may change. I've bought I think only one imported game. Region locking in my opinion is pointless. Not many people are going to buy imported games due to the fact they can't read it. ____________________ -Ninjablooper  |

About half of my Wii and DS collection are of imported games.
Heck, some publishers here flip-flop between using Eu and US copies of their games here. Importing games doesn't just mean that they're in Japanese. |

Sure.
If you're in the US that's probably the case. On the other hand those of us outside also have to deal with crippling delays for everything but the most major titles (Most games in the GCN era were delayed 6 months to TWO YEARS) and being charged double US RRP for the privilege. |
