That'd be a good start.

Also everyone should stop focusing their frustrations at a few people (namely, Xkeeper, Acmlm, blackhole.)

I think if Acmlm has decided that there should no longer be an "Acmlm's Board", then it should be left at that. If someone were to run a forum under my name that I did not approve of, I would be pretty upset about it.

I think we definitely need to find out for sure what Ace's stance is on this and act accordingly.

Additionally I request again to have my name removed from the Adult Discussion Forum.

Probably a very good idea. Maybe we should just re-make the board, except under a new name, as, in all honesty, Ace doesn't really care, anymore. And then we go from there. And while we're at it, ditch all this multiple-community drama as well. It'll take us nowhere but down.

I hope something is sorted out with all of the rest of this soon. To be honest, I think the time of "Acmlm's Board" has passed, Acmlm himself is not interested, I think we can all agree on that.

I think the "community" that remains at the moment is very divided anyway.

Maybe now is the time of Justus, ||Board and Blackhole's Board ?

Ace isn't interested in dealing with this, so he says yeah sure whatever. Last I checked (which wasn't all that long ago) Acmlm wasn't pissed off or anything about the board situations.

What is to be gained by remaking a forum? I don't build an entirely new house just because the roof has some control issues.


Again I'm going to mention that this place isn't about one or two people, it might be Acmlm's board but he hasn't been active since he got into MMOs years ago. If you want to nuke it you're not going to wait all these years. If you think Acmlm was bugging Xk to take the place down I'd say you're pretty wrong. I don't know, but I'm pretty certain. If the board was taken down it was because someone didn't like it. Someone who used to like it when it was run his way, but since it isn't has been having serious issues with the way the place is run. He waited until the best possible moment (hello russia internet survivor edition), asked Acmlm, who says "yeah sure" to just about everything, and then acts.

What I don't understand is why it even needed to be done, why not take it down when Acmlm gave up years ago and Xkeeper was running it? Would you people look at it any differently? What gives the people who aren't running a board the right to dismantle it?

tl;dr - people need to quit messing with each other, xk needs to stop blowing up boards, and since when did communities fall apart over two or three people. And what gives the people who aren't running a board the right to dismantle it?

also the whole application shit is bullshit, you don't need to read an application from someone to know if they're gonna be a good mod or admin. the people doing the selecting should already know who is going to be good for the job.

I don't see any reason to merge ||board and board2, both are different enough to be viable even if one assumes the bulk of the "pro-Xkeeper faction" simply stays on the Justus board and the Justus board alone...

If Acmlm has actually disapproved of this board, I have to agree that maybe he should be taken out of the name... and one really has to wonder why Tina remains, considering that Tina is Xkeeper's bot and is no longer associated with the board... Personally if the board is going to drop the name I'd just call it "board2", which is already a common name for it. (As I recall, that's why ||board went with ||board)
