Posted on 12-06-05 03:34 PM, in GS Codes For SM64 Bodyparts Link
Does anyone have any codes that will change the size of the body parts:

left foot
left arm
left leg
right arm
right leg
chest
butt

I'm asking because I would like and try to recreate Mario's polygon on my 3D program, which I still know a little about. The only codes I could find were for the hands and right foot. I want to make each body part disappear so I can only have 1 part showing, that way, it will be easier for me to look at the polygon. And if anyone wants to know, I'm using the wireframe setting with PJ64.

I made a site for Super Mario RPG unused beta stuff. The site is

http://smrpgsecrets.tripod.com/

There's also a debug menu that can be accessed by using a Pro Action Replay. If anyone is interested I'll look for the code to access it.

Whatever happened to that team or person or whoever was making one for SMRPG? Also, was there anyother projects being made for SMRPG hacking?

Alright, that's awesome. When a level editor does come out for SMRPG, I could work on my hack for Super Luigi RPG.

But I also have another question. Is it possible to have a sprite editor? The only way I've been doing sprite editing in SMRPG is using Tile Layer Pro. It's OK but I think it'd be easier if there was a program on which you select a name on the left and the sprite is shown on the right and you can load the palettes for that sprite or something.

I've heard that these tracks don't work perfectly online because some objects/hazarads are random in courses. So when people play online, the Chain chomps like in Peach's Garden run around randomally and thus creating desync. Because of these random occurances, these courses were not meant to be played online. Can anyone prove this desyncing problem?

Anyone know if there are some good looking Megaman sprites that show him from the center, looking left, looking right, looking back, then looking diagonally in the four directions? I hope you understood my question.

The sprites in the Rom are compressed right? TLP, which I usually use fro graphic hacks show sprites pretty easy to find but I looked through the entire Rom and it all looked like it was all compressed. Anyone know how I could uncompress these sprites, edit them, then recompress it? Also, the text is compressed so using a hex editor I didn't see any plain ASCII text to be shown. Anyone know how I could uncompress the text too?

Sorry I don't remember who but I know someone was working on a level editor for SMRPG or some kind of editor for SMRPG. I haven't seen any news from that person yet and wondering if they are still working on it.

Next time, read the goddamn sticky.

As this has brought up some interesting content, I will leave the thread open nevertheless.

Well I knew there was a SMRPG Editor, I was just wondering on how far is was in development.

Anyway I got a question about the program. Will it have some kind of sprite editing feature included? Like when you click the name of a sprite it will show the tiles, color palette used for it, the location in the rom, etc...if not then I'll just use TLP.

*Edit* Fixed XP, stupid me.

Well so far this is only a early look of the game and I only made pretty much a mock up of what it might look like.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The graphics are based from Minish Cap (Link), Four Swords (Zelda), and Wind Waker (Ganondorf). Yeah I know, that Ganondorf looks pretty bad but if anyone can make a better looking Ganondorf sprite, I'll be more then happy to give you credit. I just based my Ganondorf right from the Bowser sprite so that's probably why it doesn't look so good, lol.

Perhaps when you download games to the Wii VC you have an account. Then Nintendo knows which games you have paid to download. Now because the system is on 24/7, they can check your game list and if there's any games that are on your VC that aren't on your list, the game is simply deleted but if its, you know, an accident and that you actually paid to play the game, you would call NOA to double check the game. Maybe Nintendo will talk with Microsoft and see if they can make their Wii unhackable like the 360. Anyone know if the 360 has been hacked anyway yet?

Posted on 06-05-06 03:35 AM, in Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 Hacking? Link
I saw this video that showed budokai 3 but had budokai 2 things in it. They said they, I think, put the 2 discs into a PC, took data from Budokai 2 into Budokai 3 carefully to make it work. When I saw the video it was pretty funny but I'm wondering if anyone actually knows how to hack Budokai 3 as in putting in different coding from Budokai 2 or even 1.

Well they must have done a very good job of making that fake video. I can point out somethings that would prove it's real.

1.) In the first scene it's Babidi (the orange small guy) and Gotenk's Kamikaze ghost fighting in a B3 (Budokai 3) stage. Though this can be done using AR or CB codes to change the models in the fight to those two be seems to be very hard to crack since there is no codes for model changes.

2.) After the scene were it shows the tournament stage from B2 (Budokai 2) it shows Frieza's Son/Daughter model from the Japanese version fighting Kid Goku. That model was in Budokai 2 but he is fighting Kid Goku in a B3 stage. To point out, that Son or Daughter model was actually replaced by Cooler from the B3 game to be available, hence the voice for him/her.

3.) Next it shows Majin Cell fighting Bulma. That Bulma model was in the training mode of B3. But the Majin Cell is from B2.

4.) Then in the next scene it shows Majin Frieza fighting Gokule. Gokule was in B2 and so was Majin Frieza but they are fighting in a B3 tournament stage.

5.) In the next scene it shows Buu absorbing Gohan, nothing unusual I find about it though.

6.) Next it shows Goku throwing a Potara earing to Vegeta. This is only in B3. Then it shows them fused together as Vegito or Gogeta (i mix up which are which) which the B2 model because in the B3 it's a different costume and also they are always Super Saiyan when they fuse in B3.

7.) After that it shows a split screen of Goku and Vegeta doing the fusion dance. They are inside Buu's body, which is the stage only in B3. Now when they fuse, they replaced the Vegito or Gojita model with the model of Tiencha (a Tien and Yamcha fusion only in B2).

8.) Ok so now in the next part it shows Frieze fighting Kid Gohan in his chair, which can actually be done by using AR/CB codes but, again, aren't documented codes to be found yet.

9.) Right, so now in the next scene it shows that Frieza Son/Daughter model from the version of B2 powering up and transforming into it's final form. Then it shows him/her using the ultimate death move against Goku.

10.) Then in the next scene it shows Tiencha using his ultimate move against Adult Gohan in a B3 stage. So it's B3 A. Gohan verses Tiencha from B2 in a B3 stage.

11.) Finally it ends just by Goku using his Super Spirit Bomb move against Kid Buu. This was just used to end the video, nothing unusual about it.

Ok, well if anyone would like to STILL say it's fake, go ahead but I got proof it isn't.

If true, then they must have gotten the camera angles correct for some of the scenes to match it perfectly. Like for the 2nd to last part where Tiencha is doing his ultimate move. They would must have gotten those camera angles somehow actually in B3 to match the same angles as they have in B2.

It would probably be decently easy to replace random models from one game with another... But that's not THAT impressive. I thought you were talking about having something, you know, BIG going on. (I'll admit that I didn't watch the video.).

Well you should watch the video if you've played B2 and B3. Not only did they replace models from B2 to B3, they also replaced some stages from 2 to a 3. Sure that doesn't seem much but they also compied the moves the the people in B2 to B3 which should be quite alot on sidering the effects it does in the coding (camera angles, collision boxes, animations, etc...).

True. I guess this would actually be more suited for people that actually have played B2 and B3. Play enough to know what's what and such. Otherwise this is somewhat pointless to them Budokailess people.

On a different note, has anyone ever played House of the Dead 3 on the PC? I got it and was wondering if anyone has tried hacking with the graphics/textures in the game. I've tried but it never loads in the textures that I modify. The actual textures must be hidden somewhere else then what I'm modifiing.

I tried doing a graphics hack of SNES DBZ games but the gfx are scattered but are grouped with each other. It's hard to tell who's who if you don't have the correct palette for the character. It's like telling the difference between Goku's pants to Piccolo's.

Posted on 06-14-06 07:46 PM, in Super Mario RPG Debug Menu Link
This has nothing to do with the Debug Room in SMRPG.

Ok, a long way back I made a topic about finding the debug menu. Now I forgot who it was but who was that figured out the code for the debug menu? I'd like to give him credit for getting the code. Also (I'm pretty sure of this) no one has discovered the debug menu before I did right? If so I'd like to take credit for finding the text for the debug menu in the Rom (I'm pretty sure if no one did back then, then I already did =P). Anyway, if this is true for me being the first to discover it, then I'm going to give credit for myself on my SMRPG Secrets site and give whoever the one to give me the code credit as well for giving me the code. Oh and if there is somehow a link to the topic a long time ago (doubt it since that wipeout happened) then that'd really help too.
