I haven't released my mario world hack yet, but when I used to make levels I thought were cool, I'd turn around and realise they sucked, to anyone who hacks, that comes natural, just try to make levels that please you.

Hmm... Long story but I once fractured my toe, so I suppose the same principle would apply to both, refrain from putting too much pressure on it, and try not use the finger too much till it heals, I recommend you get a X-ray just in case.

I was spanked as a child, (Hmm... I'm still 13 so depending on who you talk to I may still be a child) but only when I did something wrong, and I seem to have higher morals than those of my peers, I believe spanking is fine, so long as that is not their only method of punishment.

Do you ever see Catholics, or christens going after atheists saying, "We're gonna sue you cause you don't believe anything, and that’s wrong!" No, that does not happen, and if it ever does they'd probably say, "Just cause we don't believe doesn’t mean you should persecute!"
I've never seen people file lawsuits over kids being lied to about Santa, or the Easter Bunny. If he doesn’t believe, that doesn’t mean the rest of the world can't. |

Originally posted by XkeeperOriginally posted by Xeruss I suppose you have a point there, better put I hate the Mario land style FG's cause those were designed for game boy, games of a smaller resolution, and the palette does stand out a bit to much for my liking, the caves look fairly cool though... Now as for the post being made so short, I needed to get off the computer, cause we remain *sigh* the only family I know that still uses dial-up. As for my hack, I do plan to try to use some varying graphics, as I myself do get somewhat tired of the now standard graphics changes found in nearly every hack made nowadays... |

Is it my computer or did you not load any graphics for that slot? Anyway my theory is you accidently loaded exgraphics in the sprite slot, and do the sprites appear that way in Lunar magic?

What if we get everyone to manipulate the YMCA theme, that would be cool, and odd...

Hmm... this will happen from time to time, I don't know what causes the glitch, but I recommend you show us a picture of the Super gfx bypass screen, and that you extract the graphics from a working ROM, and insert them to your messed-up ROM, that should fix the problem, if it doesn't work, post a patch.

Hm... I think I've read of this before, but after the release of Super mario advance 4 it's usless to google, tell us if it's fun, and do post screenshots.

I once watched a guy light a firecracker off on his bare stomach, I'd probably do that - painful for only a short amount of time.

I always favored mario2 unless we're talking about the japanese version, for some reason I liked the non-mario feel of it, and the ability to pick stuff up.

List of new bosses = impossible, at least without a huge knowledge of ASM, even the best Acmlm ASM hacker (BMF54123) probably wouldn’t pull it off.
New music = Pain in the butt (euphemism) the only people to successfully do anything with it are DJ bouche and blackhole88. If you search around you should find the music patch, that changes the SMW music to SMB3 music. New levels = Good ideas there, even though most have been done, (except maybe that racing) so keep coming up with good ideas and you'll eventually find something that works. |

That's cool, I was going to try to do the same thing, but I realized he did something special with the way the sprite was read. Good luck and when you find what to change, please let me know!

My suggestion is to rip from a save state using bgmapper1.77, or a screenshot. You can use MS paint or PSP to copy and paste graphics from a screenshot, the only problem being you need to recolor every pixel, but it works. Now as to actually answer your question, no I don't not believe there is a graphics decompressor in existence.

Can you tell me how to contact him about it, I discovered a bug with the overworld editor.

Wow that NES shown was awesome, but the controllers looked more like SNES than NES, anyway the NES you're talking of probly will go for $40 - $50.
Offtopic: I got my NES free when I was 5! |

Look in thread questions and answers for newbs, and click on the link to the FAQ, your problem is with event editing, sorry I didn't give a very detailed answer, but I haven't done to much to the overworld on my hack either.

Once again I apologize for being discreet, but LordLazer made an FAQ about over world editing, I don't have a link to it, but if you search google you should find it...
EDIT: Post 100 yes! (edited by Xeruss on 01-19-06 02:57 PM) |

I'm not trying to be species-est (actual word?) but better a cat than a human. If she did sell it on ebay, I wonder who would buy it? |
