No, this should be moved to General Chat, and renamed "Videogame fears".

Onntopic: The only thing I used to ever fear, was the Gannon-gamover screen on The ledgend of zelda: the adventure of link... That thing scared me with the laugh and all... 0_0

I found a a couple of bugs, rather small; but they annoy me none-the-less.

1. The venus fire traps don't always open their mouths before they spit a fire-ball

2. The para beetles can carry you through upside-down ledges

Oh, and by the way Racoon Sam, I decided to start something of the sort...

And I'm not jealous... I think that Rips from SMAS aren't nearly as good as say, rips from a harder-to-rip-from game like Kirby Super Star. SMAS GFX are just stored uncompressed in the SMAS ROM, KSS is compressed.

I have no idea what commpression they used, but even viewing VRAM hurts my eyes, I'm trying to rip most of the GFX myself, with a combination of map16, and, and my own hands...

I haven't finished reading the whole thing yet, but the line I found to be the most sick is probably this:

This is wrong on so many levels it hurts my head...

Hey, I'm Xeruss as you can see, I've been hacking SMW since... about a month before the crash of the last incarnation. I try to keep my posts clear and concise, and as a result I have yet to break the 300-post mark... My current projects include Super Mario Escapade, and a sprite tool demo for Raccoon Sam -In case you didn't know, he owns an apple computer- and the n00bs who can't get the program to work right.
My specialty is GFX ripping.

I could not agree more with this... I happen to share my birthday with:

-1074
- Baro
- Mack Daddy Mario 64
- Mr. Anderson
- Rawk Hawk 64
- XD-001

And only one of these dudes haven't been banned yet...

tha'd be Baro. As you can see, he has the makings of a genius...

I have a bad birthday

actually... You can see the first paragoomba in the wall. You may want to change that.

Okay, thanks for that. I made the picture, so I'm ready to show it here, BUT ONLY IF YOU GUYS WANT IT.

Sure, I'd be interested, just be sure to convert the format to a PNG first.

Regarding level design, there isn't much that hasn't already been said... But I find I must agree with changing "Jungle Mesh 2", jumping from net to net is rather repetitive and annoying . There are a few other various flaws with level design, but they aren't so glaringly obvious that they matter much. Otherwise, your hack seems fine and I await the second demo.

If you are against using ExGFX for the level, go with the bubblegum. Otherwise, I imagine the peppermint would look the best...

I have a folder named just that on my Desktop. It currently houses about twenty sub folders and a total of 27.8 GB of data.
I usually downoad large masses of files at a time, and I have on occasion found files I didn't even know I had.

Hey, it was bound to pop up... So what did you get, or want but didn't get?

I myself got:

A 2GB USB card reader
Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within
Two new sets of gym shorts
A mousepad
An optical mouse (Oh the irony)
A new AM/FM radio alarm clock
A large summer sausage
A set of lounge pants

As for what I wanted but didn't get, A dictionary. (I keep one by my computer for when I'm in the mood to write.)
