Also it was a huge tank, so it was autoscrolling everywhere. And basically I wish I could replicate what had happened.

There's actually a level kind of like this in the SMB1 hack Tower Re. It's an autoscrolling castle with a Bullet Bill shooter on the right side of the screen that adjusts to your height.

No, this should be moved to General Chat, and renamed "Videogame fears".

Onntopic: The only thing I used to ever fear, was the Gannon-gamover screen on The ledgend of zelda: the adventure of link... That thing scared me with the laugh and all... 0_0

I absolutely despise the Jolly Roger Bay level of Mario 64 because of that damn eel.

Badly-rendered giant CG sea monsters creep me out.

LOL, thats just so much me(except i'm 15.. heh)! I hate that level cuz of the eel, its so fucking creepy to swim down and down and down and at a deep rate you see that BIG thing swim around there and you go like 0_0 "momy..".. Ye i'm kinda like affraid of deep sea, but the reason why i just keep exploring it (video game and IRL) is cuz it facinates me. I just love deep sea but i'm kinda affraid of it.. I had some nightmares about it to sometimes b4, i got over it tough XD. And the forest temple in TLOZ OOT is just fucking freaking me out.. But srsly, i can't see how anyone could be affraid of a baddly made and pixeld bullet could be scary..

I love the eel... I swim around with it sometimes... the bad thing is that if you get hit then you die.

For some reason I thought this was the SM64 thread, I was even writing something about it too XD

I'm disgusted by how you guy are making fun of someone else fear seriously, what's the point of doing so?

anyway the patch in the attachment should delete ALL banzai bill in any SMW hack(except DW:TLC due to his HIROM setting)

on a sidenote, why regular bullet bill appear so late in the game(the first one you met is at vannila dome 4)

yay!
how did you do it though? changing the sprite asm or something? because if it works for any hack, wouldn't the command to insert a banzai-annoying-bill appear in different places in the rom and therefore not work?
and I thought that too.. put you with a banzai bill as the first enemy you meet but not see the easier to beat and avoid version until you've got really far in the game! great! that's like a smb3 hack always giving you giant koopa troopas, but you have to wait until world 4 to see a normal one!

I don't know what bio did, but I converted it to ExHiROM so you can patch it to Demo World.

I've simply made it so banzai bill ASM pointer lead to a RTS

So it doesn't actually remove them from the game, just stops them from being loaded into levels? So for example when the ROM is opened in LM, they will still be there? Sorry for being an idiot.. (my knowledge of SMW hacking is opening LM, opening a ROM, selecting a level other than Yoshi's Island 1)

Did you test it?
I didn't. I'm fairly sure I did it right, but I haven't time to look.
(In SMW and DW)

EDIT: I can just never get over how this is a serious question! XD

aww, I cannot smw hack
can you make a patch for me that instead of hacking the BB asm to do this, removes the banzai bills from the game? I want to do some smw hacking!!
they have to be removed from the two levels with them in (YI1 and one of the forest-of-illusion levels)

Hey, guys! I want to be a pilot, but I'm afraid of heights... Could someone make a plane that doesn't need to go high? Thanks in advance.
