What are the level modes 07 - FF?

I don't think there are any modes from 07-FF...

Oh, about the castle courtyard and front yard being together, that's actually possible with VL-Tone's editor, just delete the extra terrain from the courtyard!

Not in the first release, you need polygon editing to do that and polygon editing will not be a feature in the first release.

What do you think will make him give up?? Some exited people asking about progress and abilities of the editor, OR the fact that nobody is talking about the editor??!

Okay I figured out something wrong in my tutorial (Was a bit tired and didn't test it at that time).

This is what I said first:

"1. A little before 31 04 00 02 you'll see 36 08!!! Change that 08..."

Here's the correction:

1. A little before 31 04 00 02 you'll see 36 08 00 00 00 08, change that last 08 (or whatever number it is, just make sure it's the 5th value after the "36")

08 is the value for the snow theme and that tricked me when I made the tutorial

I think the thread about the TT64 should be named something like:
"Toadstool 64 questions (READ FAQ FIRST)" leaving no exuses for not reading the faq!!

Rainbow ride and the bowser worlds are levels that are build up by lots of small platforms. These platform can be moved just like the objects, which means that you'll be able to make complete new levels by rearranging these platforms.

and VL's editor will not be capable of making entirely new levels in the first release... you will be able to do some neat things like add items or enemies though

Actually, you cannot add or remove objects but you can move or change the objects that's already in the level. You can also move platforms, which makes it possible to make complete new levels by rearranging the platforms in the bowser worlds or Rainbow Ride etc.

BTW, did anyone ever notice this? In Hazy Maze Cave (level 6) head left from the entrance and look down the bottomless pit. If you look close you can see a yellow dot, and I think a green one too. If you consider the level's layout, then directly below this area should be the small pond, in which there are yellow and green ! boxes. I figure the "bottomless" pit here is actually just a hole leading down to that area, but with some object placed in it that kills Mario. The distance prevents the polygons from being visible, but you can still see the ! boxes.

I think this is just the yellow box in the room where you find the elevator down to the underground lake, and the green box is the one at the bottom of the elevator shaft. Because of the distance you can't neither see the polygons or recognise the distance between these boxes!! Have you tried to moon jump up from the underground lake?? You'll come up where the big rocks roll down and then exit the level.

It could be interesting to remove the killing thing in the hole where the rocks go, making a new passage to the underground lake.

The hacking document is found in VL-tones signature. And about that SM64 rom extender, you might want to know exactly what it does? It decompress the MIO0 files which all levels in SM64 are stored in.

Hopefully a later release of TT64 will let us move the island.

What you have to move is the "black hole"!!! A fall will never kill you unless you're damaged already!!

It shouldn't be to hard to change polygon colors with some ASM hacking, it've been done already with mario and chain chomp...I think.

Anyways, I'm going on a vacation now, for about three weeks. See ya!!

Isn't this gonna turn out to a MK64 editor? In that case HyperHacker won't be done whitin the first years...

Okay, from which you guess from my nickname, I'm a composer so this thread really interests me.
Which games (NES,SNES,whatever..) are possible to edit music on and how do you do it??

EDIT: Forgot to read the document at the top, which makes it quite clear that editing nsf is not very easy.
