Thats purdey cool. I'd have my search engine filter out all the images WITHOUT naked people. Naw, just joking. Google's already got that one covered.

"Wake up, Neo!" flashed on my screen in green letters. It woke me up, and I wondered who Neo was...
Seriously, one of the most scary, or annoying, experiences was when I had my dot painting half finished in ArtRage, then the program froze and I had to restart it from scratch!

Yeah, the children don't know about death until an older age. It is sad, and yet at the same time comforting, to know that at least someone believes there is at least a chance for the loved one to come back and make things better again.
The saddest thing to me, in this scenario, is children losing their inoccence.

Smallhacker's birthday? I was just MSN'n with him earlier! Darn it! Another forgotten birthday on my list...

Anyways, happy birthday to you Luigi-San! I imagine being 15 is a pretty big step! One more year and you can legally drive! Two more years and you can illegally drink!

As for the 17 year olds... Good luck with that!

Yeah. I remember one day turning it to the Spanish channel and being whisked away to a parallel universe of Sesame Street. They don't simply dub the voices like other shows, they completely redo the whole thing when porting it to other countries.
I think the blue Big Bird is Dutch.
I remember the orange one being Japenese or something.
Its all very confusing!

Posted on 07-15-05 11:25 AM, in Super Mario 64 beaten in 20 minutes Link
This is the result of 13+ years of playing the same game over and over again...
But let me tell you that was beautiful.

He handled Mario like an Olympic figure skater, never missing an oppurtunity to awe the crowd...

He played through the Bowser levels like anyone plays through World 1-1 on Super Mario Bros.: Fast and furious.

And the exploits... Oh the exploits! Using MIPs to bounce into the Star Door! Jumping on the wall in that staircase to the 2nd floor to just SAVE TIME to get to the top! It was so beautiful!

The never-ending staircase... I don't know what he did... But it made me cry. He shoved the programmer's egos in their faces. The clevar way they made it repeat was horribly exploited and ruined by this man... He bounced and jiggled like Britney Speares and made it to the top...

He raced through that last level like a small child running from a man with a paddle, never missing a time to bounce, sway, and tumble the way to the end.

The final fight was amazing. I remember 20 minutes ago the man named Mario was just entering the castle to save Peach, and now this! He beat Bowser hard.

I demand for this guy to beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in 10 minutes.

Okay, I don't wanna reveal any secrets, but in this book Harry kills a bunch of trees and works the printing press to death. He also ruined a bunch of children's sleeping schedules by having them wait in lines 'till 2 AM.

Seriously, though, I think I am going to read it... Some day.

BEFORE NOTE: This editorial may reveal things about the movie!

Having my doubts about this movie, I went into the theatre and bought a ticket. To my dismay, it wasn't at all golden, but reluctanty I bought my 12 oz. soda and a large tub of popcorn. With thoughts of the original movie dancing in my head, I took all my yummy foods with me and sat down in the theatre.

The opening sequence started, and I realized that this was going to be merely an update to the classic Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory movie. The sequence was exactly like the one for the first movie, but with the use of technology and computers! It was freakin' sweet!

The rest of the beginning of the movie was purdey good. I thought that the writers really expanded on the ideas of family and being happy without having anything that were implied in the first film and the book. All four grandparents slept in the same bed, which made me wonder if this was taking place in London or Louisiana.

Anyways, fastforward to the entering of the factory...
I thought that they messed up by having it snow outside, which created a less humble feel. I thought that in the first movie they did a better job of showing that even being around the factory was happy by having a lawn and a fancy red carpet.
The entrance of Willy Wonka was pretty darn strange, and I felt Gene Wilder's flips and dips could not be topped by a puppet show.

Lets examine the Willy Wonka character itself...
I felt that putting such a weird take on a classic character actually brought new life to the film. Instead of just being a man with a monopoly on the chocolate industry that wore odd suits like the original Willy Wonka, they added a depth and realilistic feel to the character. He opened up the factory because he was deprived of the sweet substance as a child. Thats exactly why crack dealers get started! Just joking.

The factory itself...
It was great. I liked that Tim Burton tried to build all the sets that he could, and knowing that the Chocolate Waterfall was REAL instead of just textures on a computer screen made the film more special. Other parts though, like when their riding aimlessly on the Glass Elevator and fireworks go off, ruined the whole thing by using a ridiculous amount of special effects and straying too far from reality.

Anyways...
I think it was a great film that is worth buying and watching over and over again!
9 out of 10!

Apperently they designed it like a PS2 game, so it'll be full 3-D and no cheap portable version stuff like with the old GameBoy remakes.
