Seven people confirmed dead now, and they're expecting it to grow with people dying of severe injuries. It pisses me off, too. Pointless. |

Have the G8 meeting here in Australia! We'll serve 'em chips, meat pies, battered fish, a couple of barbicued steaks and maybe some kangaroo. Yep! Ours is the only country where it's legal to eat our national emblem. G'day! But talk about up himself! "Joking" about how bad two country's foods are while they're at a meeting about poverty and world hunger. Pathetic. |

I sometimes freak myself out with my "clock" I'd fall asleep for a couple of hours, wake up, guess the time in my head, roll over to look at my alarm clock, and about 40% of the time, it's dead right! If ever I set the alarm clock, I always wake up 2 minutes before it goes off, no matter how much sleep I had that night. Even if I set the alarm clock for 4:00am, I'd always wake up at 3:57 - 3:58. Pretty freaky... Yet cool |

It does get annoying how polliticians say that these attacks shouldn't affect the people, when it obviously does, and nothing they say can change that. People everywhere who've watched the attacks on the US, UK, and everywhere else on TV all have had their emotions turned topsy-turvy, yet no one really does anything about it... leaving everyone paranoid about being bombed all over the world. The least we can say about the "war" in Iraq, is that George Bush is trying to bring a bit of positive thinking. He's actually backing up his words and doing something about these terrorists. People will always protest against action being taken against terrorists, with the subject about losing the lives of the soldiers who get departed to wherever, but you really have to think that it's better doing something about it than cowering away, being paranoid that it's going to happen again. Small acts of terrorism go unnoticed all the time. Popular Australian and New Zealand chocolate bars (Mars and Snickers) have been taken off store shelves recently, due to poisoning... There are many, many bombers blowing up places all over the middle-east. It is a really stupid act though... Really makes you think why they did it. All I know is that they believe that them killing themselves in order to defeat their enemy, will take them to their heaven. Why the rest of the world is their enemy, has been under debate in the last few pages of this thread, and will no doubtedly remain unanswered. Action definately has to be taken. It's a case of them before us... While the odds of it actually being us is very low, it's just the principal. |

A couple and bored... Or single and lonely... Unfortunately, my life's been ruled by the "lonely" option. It's not my choice, nor has it ever been, but it's the hand I've been dealt with. I'm not overweight, or ugly (so many people have told me), yet I lack confidence. I'm always the quiet guy in the corner who never talks. I always feel that I'm about to say something stupid, so I just keep my trap shut. I've been with a few girls, but I don't know how to pick 'em... The first one I had, kissed me, but during the week I was with her, slept with 6 other guys... Yep! "6"! And I'm still the virgin... Work that one out. I''ve just finished talking online to a girl I used to go to school with, and for the past week, she really seemed interested in me. A few nights ago, I told her I liked her, and she showed no negative response. Tonight, I built up the courage and asked her if she kinda liked me too, and she said "sorry" Sure, she has a boyfriend, but she works and does a course, while he stays home and doesn't clean or nuthin'! I really wish I could help her... She obviously doesn't want to be helped though. My brother's always thought of me as gay because I'd much rather a relationship than sex. I just want to feel loved... and yet, the more I wait, the more hopless it seems. I'm almost 20 now, and have nothing to show for it. The worst thing is, is that all of my brother's ex girlfriends have taken a liking to me since they've been with my brother. My brother's the typical "slut", and is proud of it. Girls go for his hard-up attitude, and later find out that that's all he's good for. They notice me, start talking to me, and notice I'm a nice guy... It's still too late for me though. I've been thinking that maybe I should just go get my ID, go to a bar or night club, and pick up some girl... yet that's what I've always been against. |

Originally posted by Kitten Yiffer Don't worry man. I'm exactly the same. As I said earlier; I'm the quiet guy who sits in the corner at a party, too scared to say anything because he's scared that something stupid will come out of his mouth, which will just scare them off anyway. I'm just starting not to care, but the only thing stopping me from totally doing so, is the peer pressure. My brother calls me gay because I don't fuck complete strangers like him. I've always been against that sort of thing... lately though... I love coming to places like these as a sort of "retreat", where no one makes fun of me for being a virgin, and we can just have civilised conversations. No one here cares that I'm a virgin. If someone on the internet wanted sexual plessure, they'd go to some cheesy chat-room, like how Offspring used to be. I'm way over that kinda stuff. If I want to feel loved in any way, it's gotta be the "whole deal", not just my personality. Nowadays, it just seems that women are after the "muscular" men, and don't really notice their personalities untill much later. Sux to be semi-intelligent and averagly looking without a six-pack. |

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is also a pretty damn good RPG too! It has quite a few funny moments. Good news is: is that there's going to be another version for the DS. It's going to include baby Mario and Luigi. God I can't stop advertising the Nintendo DS. It really is that good! But yeah! I bought Paper Mario for the N64 aaages ago! It's long been stolen by my brother, but I loved the game and all. |

Okay... so admittedly, I'd prefer to not have items, as it adds alot of luck to the challenges. My favorite character is Mario. I know no one who surpasses my skill with him (even though I know no one who also uses him) I use Yoshi, and just totally kick ass! He's not my favorite, but he's the best competition against ranged fighters. So my biggest challenge is my best friend. He uses Young Link. I've tried him, and don't like him at all. Adult Link is the way for me. I'm just a bomber-maniac! I have absolutly no proof of how good I am, but I feel that I'm pretty damn good! I feel that my talent is the skill of unpredictability, and being able to pick up on other's moves. .. I kinda know what they're gonna do next, so I change my strategy to confuse them and catch them off-guard. Alright! So if the next Super Smash Bros. game is anything like (or even better than) the current one, I'd certainly love to take on anyone who'd be willing to challenge me. Your key to victory against me is unpredictability... as I can pick up on it veeerry easily. |

It sux that people like these don't suffer from a painful enough death... considering the pain that they've caused to others. Torture the bastards!!! A bunch of British masked terrorist followers released a song and video clip promoting suicide bombings. They even laughed while showing a clip of the plane that crash into one of the twin towers... TORTURE HIM!!! |

Hmm... Can a golf ball kill you? |
Once, our P.E class was playing golf with plastic golf balls, but someone brought a real one in. Anyway! Everyone was standing way back and watching my friend take a swing at it. So he hit it good! The ball went up, and it looked like it would go nowhere near me...but it just started curving, and curving. I couldn't react really... But right at the last second, I bent my knees and kinda fell back, but without falling... Some Matrix thing I was told, lol. I felt the ball hit the fringe of my hair, and when I got back up, everyone was calling me "The Matrix Guy". I was popular for a while! People were high-fivin' me and everything! That's not even big in Australia. My friend who hit the ball came runnin' over, and was so0o0 scared! He thought I was gonna hit him, and he kept apologizing... Not like it was his fault really, and there was no harm done.

Ooooh!!! I've been talking to this girl I knew back in high school on MSN for about 2 months now. She's only just broken up with her boyfriend whom she was with for around three years. |
She lives about a 10 minute walk away from my house, and one day, she offered me a lift to go to my friend's house. So during the car trip, she tells me to open the glove-box, and I pull out two letters - one addressed to me, and the other to my best friend. So I started reading mine, and it says that she'd just broken up with her boyfriend, and that if I still liked her, it would be best if I stop, because she didn't feel ready for love at the moment. (This was about two weeks ago, but lately, she seems alot more interested) Okay. So I kept on talking to her, and complimenting her when she says negative things about herself. She's really opened up towards me, and has no problem talking to me about bad and personal moments in her life. She was the smartest girl in her grade back in high school, and she's pretty good looking! Aaanywayz! I asked her if she wanted to see Land of the Dead with me next thursday, as she's into horror movies, and she said "sure!" At the end of her E-mails, she writes "Love Jayde", and she's always very happy when talking to me. When I say negative things about myself, she says "that's not true" and all of that. We say "*hugs* and Huggles*" and all of that, too! Okay. So I feel like making a move when we go to the movies in a weeks time. I'm not one for cheesy pick-up lines, as I think they're just lame. Do you think she likes me? And what should I do at the movies? I'm definately planning on paying for it all ofcourse. She's always saying that it's alright, but then I tell her the little sneaky plans I have on paying for her...like "When you're up at the ticket booth, I'll just say "I'll pay for that!", or "We can both wait in line - but I'm going first!" Just stuff like that. I really, really like this girl. Advice please??

"Would you know what I'm gonna do before I do it?" |
"Yes" "What if I did something else?" "Then I wouldn't know" FUTURAMA ROX!! It's kinda like this whole "AI" thing. Computers are only programed for certain purposes. I've seen these "Soccer Dogs", and everyone claims that they have AI, but they're only doing what they were programed to do. They'll never turn on us or anything. IT'S BLOODY STUPID!!

Woah! Assuming you can jump on those "ice blocks", are you gonna make a few secret areas where you have to maybe shoot enemies in order to get to somewhere high? Maybe like that stage in the Ice World where you have to carry the ice block up by flying with it in order to kill a couple of spineys to get the Hammer Bros. Suit? |
Okay, so it's alot different, but do you get what I mean? Make a stage, where the only way to get through it is to build your own staircase. You'll have to make sure the player can go in and out of the room incase you lose the powerup though. Just think about it. You'd have to carry a Koopa shell along with you, shoot it straight up in the air (thanks to your talents again), freeze it, then jump on top of it! Or maybe the way you have it working, is that the ice block drops as soon as it freezes. This wouldn't be possible then. Make sure you have some use for these ice blocks though! |
