| Later... "Geez, that was close! Nice smooth-talking, Yiusi. We could've been shot." "*giggle* I don't mind. I've had worse happen to me... but this time I had you to protect." "Yiusi... I can protect myself. I was wondering if YOU could protect YOURself, though. You seem to get into trouble a lot." There is silence for a while as they fly away from the military base. Earlier, they had been shot down and Yiusi had an interesting conversation with one of the Majors there, tricking him and his privates, and Schwa and Yiusi managed to escape to safety. "Okay, Yiusi, we need to get a new ally to help Janus. Tuxydon is out. But who'll aid us? Janus said 'as many new faces as possible'. Now, who ELSE do I know that'll help us?" Schwa thinks, and to his horror only one other person comes to mind... Kaz, Cosmic Warrior. |

| BAM! Trent's first full-powered hit on Schwa knocks him backward, but Schwa, still entirely coated in red ether, flips in midair and turns it into a backflip recovery, briefly handstanding and flipping back onto his feet, 30 feet away. "Yes... I got it. I got the POWER!!" Schwa dashes forward, and upon reaching 15 feet away he launches his all-time strongest attack-- backed with, and made possible only by, 2 turns of charged energy! "Alpha Gamma OMEGA!!" (epic blast) A quick bright flash fills the room for a split second, as Schwa launches Alpha Gamma Omega onto the field, which is not ONE attack, but THREE. The first shot, Alpha, consists of two thin red beams fired from Schwa's palms that move lightning fast. If they hit Trent, they do low damage but they lower the Defensive stat. The second shot, Gamma, fires two slower shots from Schwa's shoulders that look like grey wisp clusters, which arc out and home in on Trent, doing no damage at all if they hit but paralyze the target instead. The final attack, Omega, fires a MASSIVE blast of energy (read: 56 feet in diameter) straight toward Trent, and if it hits the damage will be unbelievable. (Worse, if Alpha and Gamma hit, Trent will have an even lower Defense against the attack and might be paralyzed so he can't even block it!) Both Good and Evil creatures and lifeforms alike, no matter where they are from in the galaxy, have all reasons to fear the legendary Alpha Gamma Omega of the Psi Warriors. Schwa falls to a kneel after attacking, temporarily tired from surging so much energy through his own body. "*pant, pant* Yeah, I love doing that. Never gets old." |

| Eliminations involve climbing the ladder to the top. Round Robin is very different. In a Round Robin, the winner of the match gets a 'point', and the losers don't get points but they stay in the game. After all groups have fought each other group one time, the one with the most points wins. In case of a tie, there will be a final tiebreaker battle, and in case of a three-way tie or higher, all groups but the winners are eliminated and play continues until one team has the highest score. In some ways, that's better because losing teams never have to sit out (unless there's a tie). Problem is, that might last for a longer tournament, so you guys will have to be dedicated. Yeah, there are pros and cons to both. Elimination: PROS -More fierce competition -Not as long but still fun CONS -Losers must sit out the rest of the game -Must have a number of teams equal to some power of 2 (4, 8, 16, etc.) Round Robin: PROS -Everyone stays in the game the entire time -Any number of groups is okay CONS -Longer tournament, in some cases too long -Harder to set up the Shops the right way In any case, unless we get exactly 8 teams, Elimination might not work. What's tough is that some of our coin-betters haven't been active in this thread recently. And yes, Peardian, we can't really decide until we have all the teams. | Look what else I've made! BD Power Rush Soulution Pack A This Zip file contains the solutions for levels 1-1 through 3-4 in SM0-4 format. They are movies that can be played on an NESten emulator. If you're stuck on a level, make a savestate, load the movie, and after it's finished playing, reload your savestate and try beating the level with the new strategy you've learned. You will have to rename the files (but not the extenstions) to the same name as your Rom. |

| OOC: I never kill in Sim-Battles. "Trent, you should stop. You're missing a finger." Schwa warms up an ability... and then... "Etheral Mending!" (echo effects) Gold ether swirls up from the ground and coats Trent. In 10 seconds, he should be in perfect condition, all HP, Energy, and stats returned to max, max and normal. Yes, Schwa has fully healed his opponent. Even the missing finger has regenerated. "Feel better? I hope so." Schwa crosses his arms and taps his foot, waiting to see what Trent will do. | OOC: Okay, I let this one stand for a few days, thinking someone else would reply... and I've decided that if I don't, nobody will. Let's get it ON. You deserve a taste of The Schwa. Feel free to be as creative as you possibly can. Good luck. "NO! GET BACK!!" Without warning, somebody sneak-attacks MM from behind. Three rings of blue etheral energy whistle through the air, en route to slam MM in the back. The three rings travel at ever-so-slightly different angles but if MM doesn't move, they should all slam into his back, doing below-average Holy/Psychic damage per hit (but all 3 added up, the damage is pretty good). After the attack, a figure drops down behind MM. Though hard to make out thanks to the dark atmosphere, the figure's hands are flaring with ether, creating a dim light around this figure. He wears white, loose, robelike clothes and a jet-black blindfold, yet he seems to see perfectly well. His hair is dark-brown and ruffled. The look on the figure's face is tense, and he's breathing very slowly, as if tremendous danger is afoot. |

| As Trent talks, Schwa does some telepathic communication with Sensae that only he can hear. "You think now would be the time, Sensae?" "I always believed you would live up to this day. Go on, teach him the biz. Bless you, Schwa." "Couldn't have done it without you, Sensae." However, he could hear and understand Trent as well. He steps forward a step, hands no longer flaring with ether. "Trent, I'm a little disappointed... I whupped you. I wanted this fight to be a little evenly matched. So guess what I'm gonna do?" Pause. "Or what YOU are gonna do? You're gonna learn to fight like a master. And I'm gonna be the teacher." Schwa raises his hands, and they flare with green ether. Green ether represents Wisdom, as Schwa is now assuming a wise role. "First off, let me tell you why you did so bad. Every attack I executed, minus one weak one, connected with you! You played the Tiger 100% and the Armadillo 0%. That means you went TOTALLY offensive, and ZERO defensive. That's the number one way to lose. You need a 50-50 balance of Tiger and Armadillo, like Yin and Yang. You also need the Agility and Intelligence, Monkey and Dragon respectively as I call them, to add to your Tiger and Armadillo. "Now, listen. You're gonna attack me with a powerful, fast attack. Pull out something. I'm going to protect myself from it, then immediately counterattack. You HAVE to protect yourself from it, or the consequences will be great. Now, hit me." Schwa backflips and stands in a battle stance, 36 feet from Trent, waiting for the puzzled fighter to attack him. Schwa personally feels really good about getting the opportunity to teach someone else how to fight well-- that is, if Trent even accepts! |

Welcome to the Board, Wopple. A friend of computers is a friend of Schwa.  About us? You want data? CREATIVE data? Here goes. I am Schwa, and Schwa is the Law! I love writing, so I hang around the Sim-Battle Arena and Story Forums all day. I saw you posting there, too... you didn't really have the right idea, though... I also love, as in LOVE, Rom Hacking. I have 4 finished hacks, one of them being the only Megaman4 hack on the entire Internet. Since my website is down, if you ever want to play my hacks, I'll gladly PM you the IPS files. Anime is cool, too. That ties into the Sim-Battle aspect, though. I kinda look at SBing as potential Anime clips. If I ever learn flash animations, I swear I'd make an Anime mini-movie for every finished battle I've ever been in. But now I'm daydreaming... That's me in a nutshell. Oh yeah... | The figure's voice speaks directly to MM's mind-- a telepathic message. "Shut up! It's only asleep. Do NOT move." The figure walks closer to MM. "I am Schwa the Psi Warrior. What are you doing here? They sealed this guy up centuries ago. Black Dragons are demon dragons, pal. If you look one in the eyes, it will become enraged and you will die in a river of acid from the dragon's mouth. It breathes acid. "I am an embodyment of Good, however, and it is my job to fight strong demons. However, Dragons in general are the second strongest creatures in all existance, and it's almost impossible to destroy a Dragon, because 99% of them are immortal. That's why the Psi Warriors sealed this big fella. "You've done a bad thing, a very bad thing, by opening this chamber back up. I should pulverise you, or better yet, seal the chamber again with you inside. But you have one chance... to give me a reason to spare you." Schwa stands with his ether-coated arms crossed, a scowl on his face, tapping his foot silently. He waits for an answer. |

OOC: Teleportation is illegal. Otherwise I would have a blast.  "Do not mock me." Quick as lightning, Schwa leaps up and forward as Trent approaches, his far jump putting him far behind Trent. He easily dodged Trent's weak attacks. "And like I said, I will counterattack. Emotional Rockets!" (echo effects) Schwa spreads rainbow-colored ether around himself, and the ether swirls together and forms into 3 cones, which all flash white and assume different colors. There's a red one, a yellow one, and a blue one. The etheral cones hover upright next to Schwa. "Be ready to defend yourself. I want to see either a perfect dodge or a perfect block. Sorrow Rocket!" Schwa thrusts his hands forward, and the yellow cone only takes off like a guided missile, homing in on Trent. It curves slowly, though, so if he's good, Trent can trick the missile into crashing into a wall. If this attack hits, Trent becomes either poisoned or slowed (it's random which one, you choose). |

| "Ah... no. That Ruby is BAD news. A hundred percent Demon Magic. It'll corrupt you if you try to harness it. You can't control it. It'll control YOU. "I gave you a chance, but your intentions are too evil to be here. I'm afraid I'm going to have to punish you for your deeds, dragon or no dragon." Schwa's ether flares up, and he showers MM with small etheral energy bolts. They flurry over a wide space and do low damage per hit, but there are many of them and damage can add up if the target doesn't try and move. Schwa also half-runs, half-glides a half circle around MM as he attacks, so the bolts come from every angle and so he can attempt to get behind MM. |

| When Trent landed on the missile, since it was made of pure energy, it exploded around him, afflicting him with either Poison or Slow (his choice, probably Poison because he's still fast enough for Air Kick). Schwa gets ready for the block, like usual... POW! Even while blocking, the powerful, forceful attack was enough to knock Schwa down and do good damage! But Schwa turns it into a backflip and lands on his feet. "Very good! But you DIDN'T dodge my Emotional Rocket. You jumped right on top of it, in fact. Now you have a status condition... What're ya gonna do?" After he speaks, Schwa thrusts his hand towards Trent again, and this time the red rocket takes off (Anger) towards Trent. If it hits him, it'll do MAJOR damage, but Trent's Attack Power will climb much higher as an overwhelming wave of anger overtakes him. It flies in the same pattern as Sorrow, homing in but curving slowly. Schwa stands in one place while attacking. |

| "So you ARE Evil. You're openly admitting that. Tsk tsk..." Schwa still remains calm while facing his converted attack. He knows the Anger Rocket will now home in on HIM, and he really doesn't want to get hit by such a powerful attack. So... ...With a third and final thrust of the hand forward, the blue rocket, Joy, takes off... straight toward the Anger Rocket. Then... "Gyrowell Advance!" (echo effects) Blue ether fills a large area of air right above Schwa, swirls together and compresses into an energy sphere. From then on, Trent might feel a tugging from the sphere... It's an artificial Gravity Well, one that pulls lightly on ALL objects and people in the room except Schwa, Trent included. Though it is a weak pull that can easily be resisted, it could do a pretty good job of throwing the foe off balance if he wasn't careful, especially in midair. With Gyrowell Advance in play, the two Rockets' courses divert slightly. The Anger Rocket, heading toward Schwa, speeds up and curves upward a little (pulled by the Well), while the Joy Rocket slows down and starts curving upward and around. The timing is perfect, and the Anger Rocket passes right under the Well while the Joy Rocket passes right over it. Now both rockets are moving towards Trent, who is behind Schwa... ...and the two rockets collide with each-other about 13 feet away from him, as a MASSIVE explosion of Light and Dark energy erupts from the two energy missiles, covering 50% of the room. The explosion could damage both Schwa and Trent. Schwa does many frontflips away from the blast, but the blast nicks him barely, and it's still strong enough to knock him down. The blast now rushes at Trent... "Never collide Light and Dark energy of mass quantities... Muhuhuhuhu..." Schwa comments, gleeful with himself that he got the timing so perfect. |

| OOC: You broke a huge rule. NEVER directly control the actions of the other character. EVER. Especially with me, that makes me mad. Schwa never tripped over your character for sure... You might say, "Schwa may not expect MM's sudden roll and could likely trip over MM", but, yeah, don't do that with the definite controlling. Thank you. Since Schwa is already moving at a fast speed, he manages to avoid MM's rolling figure. THEN the Dragon awakens. "No! Ka'Mumba has awoken! It's the end of the world!" Schwa notices the demon dragon heading straight for the ceiling. It seems as if it's about to break right through the ceiling. Schwa contacts Sensae. "Schwa here! Ka'Mumba has awoken from her slumber and a Magikoopa has broken her seal! Get EVERYONE over here and kill her, she still may be weak from just breaking out!" "I have feared this coming. I will send every Psi Warrior... and I will also battle the dragon." Schwa is shocked. "Sensae! You're too old to fight! Please!" "I'm younger than you." To this day, Schwa still has never quite figured out what he meant by that. Schwa refocuses his attention to MM. "Bastard! Look what you've done! Ka'Mumba devours entire PLANETS with ease! ...Rrrrrgh, I'll KILL YOUUUUU!!" Schwa immediately assults MM. "Rolling Helix!" (echo effects) The attack fires a chain of white spheres from each of Schwa's palms that corcscrew together in a helix pattern, firing beam-style straight towards MM. If the attack hits, damage is low, but MM will most likely be knocked into a wall (which does more damage than the attack itself). Schwa's eyes are glowing ruby-colored, visible from under his blindfold. He's MAD. |

| OOC: You're slowly improving. See, this kind of stuff is where I get my ideas for Super Mario Battles. What would improve you the most right now is describing all your attacks in detail. I know it's a lot of writing sometimes, but that's the aim in Sim-Battling for the most part. "If I knew spells, I would be a disgraceful Psi Warrior. We use only our psychic and spiritual abilities in combat, not magic." As Trent prepares his attack, Schwa dashes at him, but his speed seems to have dropped a little after falling down last turn. He must still be shaken up. But right as Trent slides, Schwa leaps straight up, high into the air, and Trent goes under him. Schwa then fires a beam of Holy/Psychic energy out of his right hand, staight down at Trent, a basic attack that only does normal damage if it hits. Schwa then lands only 2 feet behind Trent, coming down from his fall. He tries to get away with a frontflip, but should Trent attack RIGHT when Schwa lands, Schwa's flip will fail and the attack is guaranteed to connect. He'll have to be quick, because Schwa landed behind Trent, not in front. (if flip successful) "You should be watching me, and learning from it. Are you?" (if Trent hits him) "Gah! *falls to a kneel* "...Nice..." |

| OOC: 1: Yes, perfectly legal move. 2: You're doing it again... "MM and Schwa didn't notice the dragon crashing through the ceiling." It SHOULD be, "MM didn't notice etc." Otherwise you're controlling me again. As the dragon smashes through the ceiling, large chunks of stone begin raining on Schwa and MM, falling projectiles that do heavy damage if they hit either fighter. Schwa REALLY wants to combat Ka'Mumba, but MM comes first, so he decides to stay in combat with MM until one of them falls. MM's bubble surprises Schwa. "Dargh! That's one huge attack! ...Shoot, it's locked on to me... Crapola..." Schwa takes off in a mad dash to the back of the room, where the dragon used to lie. The bubble follows him, of course. Eventually Schwa is backed up into a corner. "Okay, this ain't right... Zraku Guardian!" (echo effects) Schwa casts his Technique right as the Bubble captures him. A blue, shining portal opens nearby, and out leaps a summoned creature: it's a fox, made of blue firey energy with glossy, silver eyes of determination. The fox takes one look at Schwa in the mega-bubble... "Did somebody get captured again? Tsk tsk..." "Can't... move... Emily, Ka'Mumba has escaped..." "No! Grrr..." She turns to face MM. "You're responsible. I can see it in your eyes. Prepare to die." Leaving the paralyzed Schwa in the bubble, Emily the Zraku takes on MM. She attacks by getting a fast running start and leaping at MM, etheral claws outstretched. The super-fast attack is meant to slash MM in the face while Emily streaks right past; a medium-damage attack, but it's almost impossible to track. OOC: Question. If the bubble is destroyed, does Schwa gain back his mobility? |

| Momentarily paralyzed, Trent manages to grab Schwa by the neck and lift him... but before he can throw Schwa, Schwa launches a powerful, ether-coated punch right to Trent's chest. The attack is meant to do low-damage if it hits, but stun Trent as a wave of ether envelops him and delivers him a strong feeling of honor. (It'll have a high chance of hitting since it's at point-blank range and it comes in fast and unexpectedly.) If it hits, Schwa can wiggle free. (if hits) "Feel it. Honor lives in all of us... we just need to find it, sometimes with a little help.  " |

| OOC: Kire detects nothing. However, he feels a powerful alien energy coming from the crater. Schwa stands up, with difficulty, and notices a small probe relaying information to him. "Interesting... This is interesting. Now if ONLY I had a way to withstand this dang energy pulse! Argh..." That's when Schwa notices he can withstand the energy a little better. He may have adapted to it by now... "Okay, what's taking Dracoon so long? Everybody, up the wall." Schwa summons a Psi Disc for every team member who can't fly or climb well. Then he zooms up the wall on his own Disc... on his way to the meteor... As Dracoon gets closer, the whispering voice seems more real and clear. "Somebody... Help..." |
