Omg, you guys wox.  Oh, take a look at the replies that KP9000 got in every thread he's made. It's NORMAL! Now take a look at mine. Note how I have threads in which recieved many replies, and threads which hardly got any. One of them got ZEEERO replies. That's the luck of the draw. | No. Hellll no. You redo that post and make it more insightful. Click on edit, and make it better. Bleh. Anyway, I lovvved this movie. I don't think Ashton was quite the right actor to play this part but he did a pretty decent job. As a big fan of the concept of time travel, I enjoyed this movie very much. I didn't see it in theaters, but I saw the directors cut. The ending I thought was kind of stupid. Very stupid actually. Then a friend came over who saw it in the theaters and we were discussing it. Well, turns out that I didn't see that actual theatrical cut ending of the movie. So I watched it and thought that one was MUCH better then the directors cut ending. If you haven't seen it yet, the least you could do is rent it. It's definitely worth watching once. I wouldn't mind watching it again actually. |

| Small tip: If possible, watch it subbed. (Sub titled) It may take a bit to get used to, but it will be well worth it in the end. General rule of thumb: English voice acting = teh suck. Japanese voice acting = win. |

| Oh hells yeah. For some reason or another, I seem to forget this EVERY DAMN YEAR. But not this year, I'm going to remember this time. We here in North America wont be able to see it like those in Eurasia, but 40-60 meteors an hour is still very good. |

| They announced a delay a few days ago. Second time already. I guess that's good though, got to make it as smooth as possible. They're finally enabling the built in firewall by default. I'm expecting my fair share of problems when SP2 is released. Compatibility issues with certain programs is being expected. Oh, and it's roughly half a gig too but luckily for dial-up users, they're going to make it so if you get disconnected mid-download, you can resume it where you left off later. |

If the admins feel that it needs a moderator, then they'll pick one. There's no need to suggest or otherwise recommend one. |
Hmm, I guess there's not a whole lot left that can be said. Just be patient. Besides, full mods can moderate it as well so it's not like it has a critical need for a local mod this very second.

You wouldn't happen to be using a WinModem by any chance would you? |
I don't know if it matters in FC2 though. My guess would be that either FC2 doesn't support WinModems or you don't have the proper drives installed. I don't know how much experince you have with other operating systems other than Windows, but Linux needs a lot more configuration on your part than Windows does. I can't offer any more help beyond that, sorry. Kitten Yiffer on the other hand, might be able to. He has experience with Fedora Core 2. I don't know if he's seen this thread or not, but I'll refer him to it. EDIT: Ah, jeeze. I forgot all about the part where you said you could hear it connecting.
