Hey, what do you all know about nanotechnology? Like, is there any real news about it's usage outside of the lab yet, and has the USA lifted it's restrictions on the science yet?

no, I mean nanotechnology as in the molecular-sized machines that scientists want to use for medical research and practices and other non-CPU uses

I was under the influence that the USA had a great fear of this technology being misprogrammed in the incredibly unlikely chance that nanobots would multiply and consume the earth... again, incredibly unlikely, but when the USA is led by religion and fear that their thought of god may be shattered by reality, people get scared. But last I heard, nanoengineering was a science that had many restrictions put on it... such as "don't make it, just theorize about it on a computer because we don't want you to accidentally fuck up a loop command and send the world into destruction"... even though that'd never happen. Is it just me or has religion been playing a large role in state affairs lately? well... always I guess, but more so now that a religious zealot is in office. I'd like to see changes within my lifetime to improve global living standards, and the USA has the largest imaginary funds to do it (because the USA can go into debt as much as it wants because it's global standard and the "USA always pays off its debts"... eventually) I love the USA, but with all the power it yields, I wish it'd do something for the betterment of the world every now and again... at least we "won" the war. :/

I use a Mac which supports japanese and when I visit emulation9.com the japanese is fine, but when I view your characters, Acmlm, they are ASCII... even the edit where you say it works just appears *,A,. (the dot is in the middle of the line instead of bottom and the A has a circle above it). This is the same when using an altavista.com search... some pages appear in japanese while others appear as nonsense characters. I'm using IE for Mac. So I think perhaps the board does not properly support alternative alphabets despite your supposed success? Maybe this is a problem which can be remedied by adding a line of text in the head of the pages to support different languages?

Absolute most boring movie of all time... Bringing up the Dead. Sincerely, I recommend you all go rent and view it just to compare it to your picks for most boring movie and I'm sure this will beat your pick. If you do watch it, please pay close attention to the plot as there is none.

I've decided to use a PC today and now that I've found Shift-JIS, it does indeed work. How come the browsers don't/can't support all languages at once?

I met a homeless man and he asked me to take him to the hospital so I did. Everyone I told said I was stupid because he could have stolen my car and money and killed me... but even though he stank and looked like crap, I still brought him to the hospital... guess sometimes you just have to hope people are sincere and aren't going to kill you. I think I've met more sincere homeless people than sincere people with homes and jobs But there is this corner near where I live where people who aren't homeless stand with signs saying they're homeless to collect money from people stopped at the stoplight... I don't give out money to beggars. There's a lot of homeless where I live, though. They're all over the place... and always asking for money or cigarettes and you just have to shake your head and shrug at them and keep walking. What people need are more homless shelters so at least homeless have an address, can clean themselves up, and maybe get a job and collect a paycheck, open a checking account, save up some money, and eventually get back on their own feet... unfortunately, most homeless I've encountered use homeless shelters as a warm place to sleep while the rest of the day they go out begging for money.

Chances are you can even add them without removing other enemies. You just have to expand the ROM again and make a new section for enemy programming which I'd assume is 100x more difficult than a new block... but I could be wrong and it might be on a similar plane of difficulty. I don't do ASM so I wouldn't know for sure.

Rainbow road looks quite amazing, how did you manage to make the rainbow translucent? is it a feature of LM or did that require ASM or is it even just merely an optical illusion?

It's a vertical level. that occurs when you enter a vertical level from a certain screen. I can't remember if you need to enter vertical levels from an odd screen or an even screen. But whatever screen you entered from, just move it up or down one screen and that will go away. Just a glitch in the programming of Vertical levels.

I get two to three spam mail messages per day... and that's in my spam account. In my personal account I get maybe one spam a week if that.

Hey, what's your favourite type of soup? ♨
Mine is hot tomato soup with cheese and crackers... sometimes I just eat grilled cheese with my tomato soup.
