I can piss in a hat and demand you to love it because, regardless of the lack of effort I put into it, not everyone is perfect.
Does that seem right to you? He spent ten minutes on it. He did a sloppy job of using the lasso tool. People didn't just say "it sucks," they also explained why. There were a good amount of comments on why it was bad. Obviously you're not getting this.

dragon master has exactly the right attitude about this.
Shyguy, you made this topic because you think that everyone flamed Rockman so that he'd leave the board, without giving him a chance. Now you're saying "just the few that like to flame people." No one came and was harsh without explaining why.

"This looks like it has been done in 30 minutes" is NOT flaming. And in Rockman's case, it's a compliment.

He admitted he only spent ten minutes on that art. How can you still say "it's not the person's fault if they are a little bad at it" in that case? HE PUT NO EFFORT.

That speaks for me at least. I have been keeping up with this comic, but with few comments. I really enjoy it. I wasn't too fond of stopping so you could redo some strips, because of how long it took, but I'm glad you're back on track.

Okay, this an obvious improvement.

As dragon master said, if you copy and paste images with anti aliasing like that, try to get rid of them. It's not that hard and will look much better. Not much to comment on the material, but it's just the first comic. Bring on some more.

And on a side note, could you make the color of your actual posts different from your header and sig colors? Right now it's annoying to look at.

Ooh I see it.
It's simple and looks good. The changing effect is a nice touch.

Good job.

Not a bad show either. I get sort of annoyed by the whole "we're rockers!" thing, but it's still fun to watch.

edit: How does it work for people with slow connections? I notice how the font is a light gray briefly before the font color loads over it.

He didn't see anything, but my heart was going crazy. I don't have porn or anything like that, but.. there are still things I don't need him to see.

I hate that too. Even if I don't have something to hide, it just bugs me. And with AIM convos I always go to a different window to hide, and sometimes like my mom will come to me many times and I'll keep hiding the window, and it gets a bit obvious.
I've also had problems where my mom goes on, and I go to quit AIM and it's like YOU HAVE JUST RECEIVED A NEW MESSAGE, STILL QUIT?! but I didn't notice that message, so I'm still online and my convo is there in full view. She's never said anything, but I wonder. =\
