At one point in time, I was staying up 48 hours at a time, with sleep intervals of about 3 hours. This went on for about a month, until one day, i passed out on a ferris wheel. I have had normal sleep since.

I bet you everyone there carries a geiger counter. I would. Just so I wouldn't screw myself trying to TRAVEL.

I have a headset, but the lack of a HP jack prevents me from using it. A computer without sound? Is it possible?

It would be great to hear what other board members sound like...

I really wish I could kick the other guy's arse, but I cant. It would get me into a lot of trouble. And I cant seem to stay out of it.

I was talking to a friend in Tempe, Arizona while I was in Phoenix, Arizona.
I got disconnected from him a few times. This time I can't connect.

The palettes for the status bar could change so you wouldn't have to use up one of the boxes.

For one of the boxes: How about a sprite reserve? A barrel of water? (used for maybe filling gaps...) maybe a Block Reserve? (it would have to be a one time use)

Edit: 100 posts mark! woohoo!

I don't know of anybody who uses dial-up anymore... but thats just me. Dial-up is now obsolete. It has been for the past 5 years.

I use COX, and i like it better than any other connection because of the low price and the good connectivity.

I never had a problem with it before. I think cox has more than one class A IP address...

Why did JJ64 get priority over me? I posted a while back before he did...

Or is it you are just gathering information?...

I will need overworlds other than the ones I need, and these overworlds are very flexible. Alter them as you see fit.

I have the .mw3 pallete file saved, but how do i get the map16 data saved?

I would have to agree that the best generic brand of batteries ARE the Kirkland Signature...

I live in AZ and i can get a 48-pack for about 13 bucks.

But i dont think the next gen handhelds need AA's... just CD players and the like. They should have rechargables also.

And the DS is not backward compatible with GB/GBC games, just the GBA.
This was stated at E3.

The main reason the DS does not support GB/GBC is the fact that there are compatibility issues, just like the controllers and memory cards of the PS2.

I do not really mind that much, since I probably sill not be throwing out my SP or GBA Player anytime soon..... Then again, i dont know anyone who carries around 2 handheld systems.

Well, I have a bit of a problem... In Brinstar, in the corridors that you pass through AFTER the palette change, those palettes are not accessible using metedit. But, after I took the palette change out, the energy tank is gone! (The one in plain sight)

Actually, the idea behind my new hack is to make it available for other people to use for their own hacks. I may do a hack of my own, but for now, only the gfx are going to be changed.

When i release it, people will be able to patch it to the original rom and THEN start their hack. I plan to start working on a new look for the metroids and I plan to start work on tourian tonight. Of course, i plan to work out all of the pallette and gfx bugs as well.

The GFX for this hack are ripped from megaman games 2 through 6.

You will notice that on the cieling of brinstar, the "spikes" gfx are messed up. I would like to have someone help me do some hex changes to make that look better.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for games that i might rip gfx from?

EDIT:::

THE SHOTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED!

Also, i have figured out how to fix the "spikes" in brinstar's ceiling, by using different 8x8 tiles to make up the 16x16 tile. So, not only the gfx are going to be changed, some hex will make it look a lot better!

I have added the Palette change back in, and searched for the palettes that metedit does not see. I have just taught myself some tricks that just opened up the playing field for this hack!!!

The only sprites i plan on changing are the metroids. Game is 60% done!

...Another post at TEK. Link to my site is at the top.

The Nintendo 64 was never 64 bits. It had 32 bit video and 32 bit sound. Nintendo dubbed it the Nintendo 64 because it just seemed like a good white lie.

Anyways, i also think SMA5 should be a remake of SMRPG...

The DS is making an all new original for mario brothers.... Its at gamespot.
