I dont see why older handheld games should be left out. makes me very sad, now Ill have to play Oracle of Ages and Seasons on a regular GBA.

Ages seems to be more puzzle based and Seasons more action based. I only scratched the surface of them but maybe I can get a good start on one by the end of the summer. Kirby - They're not really "left out", but considering how many GBA's are out there... It's hard to find someone upgrading directly from the GB/GBC to the DS. |

The main reason the DS does not support GB/GBC is the fact that there are compatibility issues, just like the controllers and memory cards of the PS2. I do not really mind that much, since I probably sill not be throwing out my SP or GBA Player anytime soon..... Then again, i dont know anyone who carries around 2 handheld systems. |

I never got that PS1/2 memory card scheme... That's likely the ONLY reason I can walk into any video game store here and buy a PS1 card. (Or even a PSOne. ) The cards are pretty cheap for the PS1, but still... For someone who buys a brand new PS2 and wants to buy some old PS1 games, it's a slap in the face. |

...Keep it to play GB/GBC games if you have them? I'd still hold on to it - doubt you can link them but... |

RUMOR has it that the DS price will be $179 American. That's really not too bad considering the technology.

A friend of mine (Rich bastard! ) has this awesome palm-pilot that can do more than those two put together. The thing cost only about $400, but hey! That's a great deal considering the fact that it has... -Schedule devices -180gigs of space -Remote control programmer -An internet modem He downloaded all the emulators and whatnot he would ever need on there. -N64 -PS2 -Dreamcast -Sega Genesis -SNES ...the works! I saw one just like that and I am saving up my extra cash to get one myself. |
