| One thing about Einstein's Theory of Relativity though...you have to remember that the closer you get to being the speed of light would be the closer you get to having your mass becoming infinite (in other words, if you didn't have some sort of theoretical anti-matter holding you from that fate, you wouldn't make it). Course then if I remember my reading, Einstein's theory doesn't rule out tacient speeds (speed of light or faster/multiples aka Warp Speed and multiples if it were possible) since light is already traveling that fast and the mass, for all I know, isn't infinite. So I guess the best theory I've heard thus far is trying to hitch a ride in a beam of light...or alternatively, if you want to put movies/books into it...the closest unexplained would probably be Contact; by the movie's cut, 18 hours passed for the rider for the instant that everyone else saw it...which makes me wonder if that whole place was a pocket dimension via wormholes or something else...course then this might've been a bad example period. See...now I want to find that old Journeyman Project game and go for broke. Thanks guys.  |

| Board had a restart in April this year after the database went to shit...so yea...a lot of people lost posts and a bunch of other threads (I'm still seething over the SF's loss). So yea...those people like Ace that were close to pulling 20,000, 30,000, or 40,000 are now down quite a bit. |

I got a Hippo myself...and it packs a wallop when allied with the Big Bear I have. Between the Hippo having the Yawn command that can put an enemy to sleep and the Big Bear having a 4-hit combo that can easily accumulate a LOT of damage against an opponent that doesn't have DEF...it's a deadly combo (both can't be countered, at least that I know of yet). |
I might think of getting a Fairy Fire and Gremlin (the box one) in my party though. The Fairy Fire has EXTREMELY long range for magic attacks (and if I so choose, Purify) and the Gremlin...well...it doesn't have very good move ability and it's HP is low, but it DEF/RES are well in the high hundreds range at an early level. So if I slap on a Raise HP/Raise SPD and go for broke trying to max his stats on that option...he'll be a walking tank that progressively gets faster/more move ability. EDIT: Through Ch. #4 now. Got the good ending. And since I had a bad ending in #3...I did a little side searching and came up with a 'special' ally...and lemme tell you...he's...cute.  The Gremlin and Fairy Fire I got. But hell...end of Ch. #4 I was half-tempted to get one of the monsters you're supposed to evade and I ended up killing anyways...but I figured it would take as long to get if not longer than the Gremlin (which took about 15 Purify attempts at about 30 Purification Power a pop) so I would've been killed by it before I got it. OMG bump looky here! And four layouts done for this series. I'm up to Chapter 10 of 12, btw. My brain is fried by how hard it has become (has died twice horribly, Ch. 7 and this one).

Oh I had that problem going to bed last night just to get up at 7 AM to drive to an Art class at comm. college at 9 (8:40 really). Had to force myself to get to bed at about 11 PM. |
It's because I let myself slide for many, many months. So getting back into the swing of things is a pain in the ass. But once you get used to it, even a person like me that bitches when he doesn't get enough sleep, you'll be fine. Just gradually work your sleep schedule back if you can. Of course, the faster you get it back into reasonable terms, the better. If nothing else, I can randomly IM you at midnight my time 'GO TO BED n00b!@!'.
