CV was good, but I always like Nemesis. I have no idea why, just cause it was fun, and awesome to be back in Racoon and see all the stuff that was in the second game. Something about that made me love that game. But honestly, RE is one of my favorite series, if not the best series I've ever played. I love the story of the series, it's great, which most of my friends here have no clue about, which causes them to be mad when I read all the little notes that I find everywhere in RE4, they don't get why I do it. Anyways, definately buy RE4, nothing better than it, and hopefully they'll release a game that describes what exactly happened in these past 6 years, maybe with some of the old stars memebers that are still around. We can only hope that will happen.

Oh, like Chris Redfield and the rest of the STAR team's investigation into Umbrella before the Mansion. That would be awesome, just not so sure how that would work out, cause that doesn't seem like you could make much of a story there. Maybe a lil crazy here, but you could have a DVD movie, not a theatrical release, more like FFVII:AC that would fill in a lot of the background story, kinda like a bonus, and then have the new game. I think that could work, but not completely sure, depends on if they want to put the time, effort, and money into that, or if they can make a game out of it, cause that would definately be better.

Quick question, are the movies at all related to the story of the games, like, watching them, does that help flesh out any of the story, cause I got the impression that it probably doesn't. Also, do the RE:Outbreak games have any significant story to them, or are they just a multiplayer game that doesn't really add much to the story.

RE:Rebirth, never heard of that. Anyways, is there any place where I can find the stories, or at least the relevant parts of the stories, for the OutBreak series. I'm not really able/wanting to buy those games right now and I would love to know what they add to the series.

About cases, if you can get buy without buying the middle one you'll have a good amount extra for upgrades, but really, that all falls away once you beat it once. And FYI, do not, and I repeat, do not sell any of your magnum ammo. The magnum is, um, rediculous, yeah, that's probably the correct word. It is by far the most powerful weapon, cept for the rl, and i greatly regret not having the funds to buy it and the ammo to support it if i had the money to buy it.

Ok, that's it for now.

Oh, ok, now I'm not so confused. I was like, how could I have missed an entire game. I'm gonna play through RE1 remake after I finish RE4, then do claire's story of RE2, RE3, and CV and Zero to finish it up. Haven't played any old REs cept Leon RE2 in a long time, gonna try to get that old RE feeling back again.

I was thinking about doing that, but hey, I'm bizarre and feel like playing the games in the order that they were made. Kinda recreating the whole store telling that I had to go through during my original play throughs. Crazy, yes, fun, definately.

Also, Assignment Ada was awesome. I was like, why am I getting all these first aids and TMP ammo. The, the ending, huge boss, crazy strong, had me a lil worried, when I was down to only two first aids and 200 ammo. But alas, I beat him and the little bit of side info was great. Now I gotta work on mercenaries, does that give any bit of story like they did in Nemesis? Anyways, back to that which keeps me from RE, College.

Not trying to scare, just saying that that boss was about 100 times harder than the rest of the enemies. Basicaly, everything leading up to that was easy as hell, and then he was difficult, not impossible, not even really hard, just difficult, especially compared to the rest of the mission.

I love that part of the game, that enemy was one of the coolest bosses in the game. I loved the CO2 canister and dodging and all that, it was good times.

It's a really great game, but MvC and MvC:superheros or something like that are a helluva lot better than it. Those games had it perfect, MvC2 is definately not quite up to par, but still a great game. Also, the music has been slowly fading away in those games, nothing beats the classic SFII music, too bad not many people enjoy playing me in SFII.

Ah, going through this game the second time is so easy. At least these beginig parts. I took down a Gigantos with four shots from my trusty Killer7. Ok, really quick question, just wanna see if me and my friend really know video games as well as we think.

Does the SPECIAL UPGRADE for the Killer7 cost 777,777p or are we crazy? I just have this gut feeling that, due to its name and its insane power, that that's what it's gonna cost.

I don't think I'm getting me an IRL or the CTW until I upgrade all my regular weapons. I mean, I beat the game without those weapons, and it's more fun to use magnuns and shootties and stuff like that.

I used to be able to go through the entire MvC 1 with only Ryu or Ken, depending on who I felt like using. I would occasionally bring the other one out to do the double shinku haduken, but other than that, my challenge was to get through the game with only using one character. No it's beating the game with a frameskip 2 on, now that makes shit complex. Die a lot, but I've done it a couple times. I tried with FS9 on and I was dead without seeing anything happen.

Wait, the butterfly is the one with a 50 damage rating. Someone said that it was the Killer7 that had that. Well, seeing as a completely non-upgraded killer7 took down a gigantos in 4 poorly aimed shots (didn't shoot the creature coming out of it's back, used the knife on that) i'm sure when it's upgraded it'll do my bidding pretty well.

Don't forget a RL for when you get sick of fighting bosses the fair way. Also, I heard the Red9 is more powerful than the Blacktail, but the Blacktail looks so much better, so I just use that. Also, definately get a magnum, even if you don't upgrade it it's at least as powerful as a fully upgraded semi-auto riffle.

Remember to actually look over your shoulder when you back up. I muffed that up, cause it was an abandoned side road, i pulled forward through it first, no one in site and no where for someone to come from, and had my eyes on the mirrors constantly, but they still got me. Also, drive the speed limit or 5 below, but not above. Also, just act like you're comfortable, that's what they're looking for. I passed with -13, the most you can miss, and my friends love how I drive; fast, reckless, but under control. Just do what you know, and definately drive around where your DMV is before you take the test, so you can see if there are any bizarre signs, lanes, etc.

Lool, that was a funny little dialogue sequence. I don't get Leon and Ada, it just doesn't seem like they could ever work. Well, who knows. Leon's got the women lined up around the block, what with Ada, Ashley, and lest we forget, Claire.

Nother quick question,

Near the end of the game there is a room with a throne. You see Sadler in that chair, and you can sit down in it, does anyone know how to activate the chair, cause i'm almost positive that there's something that can be done with it. I can't try it now, but I was thinking maybe you need all of hte fully completed crowns, staffs, beerstein, and the such. Any ideas on this.

Ok, so I guess that's all it's there for. I'm gonna try saving all the special treasures and try it out, just in case, but I've checked everywhere and nobody says anything about it except for the fact that it positions the camera so you can see the elegant headdress in the ceiling. For now, I'll just leave it at that, thanks.

BTW, the CTW is insane, I love it, makes the game insanely easy, don't mind at all selling my stricker and blacktail to get it. And getting the thermel scope is a must, i didn't do that the first time through, and killing the regenerators was near impossible, basically, i just let loose with the rifle until they died, usually took about 20 shots to do it, now it takes 4-5.

Oh, this sounds fun.

Character wise-Usually some sort of love relationship is good. It is even better when something is drasticaly hindering that relationship, IE they are on oposite sides of the law/society/wealth/beliefs/etc. Also, some sort of trajedy should happen to one of the characters, to give them a viable reason to do what they are doing. With the villains, you want someone who is dark and mysterious. Also, a villain that is utterly badass, who can destroy entire cities at will is a great thing to have.

Setting-It depends on how you work it, you just want consistency I guess. If it's mediviel, keep it mediviel, if it's high tech, make it high tech. Interesting things with this though, in blending different situations, is where there is a group of people that have access to higher technology than others, this can be a lot of fun.

I think character dialogues should have pictures of the characters next to the text box. I don't know why, but I always liked that in games. Also, the quintesential element of any rpg, the music. I can't think of any great rpg that didn't have a great soundtrack. I'm not saying it has to be classical or any sort of genre, just something that fits absolutely. CT, CC, FF, and XG have great symphony style music, but EB also has a great, quirky soundtrack that really only fits that game, but nothing else would've worked for it.

I guess that's all I can think of right now.

Good point, I went back and read what I posted and realized that there was a strong Xenogears leaning in about everything I was writing. That probably is attributed to the fact that I just started playing it again so maybe my suggestions are just what I love about Xenogears and not necessary for every game. But I definately agree that the villain has to be done right for any game to be succesful.

Oh, good point about the badguys. I thought Delita was one of the best villains in a game, because you knew he wasn't a purely evil person, it was just his circumstances and stuff that forced him down that path. Definately FFT had some of the coolest character development, all the different factions and alliances constantly changing, that was cool. I think having a great number of "villains" who are constantly switching sides and stuff was a great idea, but it really only works in a game with that kind of setting.

Ahhhh, not microsoft, anywhere but that. JK

I'm studying to be a computer science + electrical engineer. I guess that means I'll do a lot of programming and working on computers, which is good considering that I really like computers. I've also heard that power management is a big thing that we need in the U.S. (who'd a thunk it, what with our lack of any problems in the electricity distribution sector, lool) so I'll probably look into that a little bit too, like creating better monitoring systems and safeguard checks for the whole system of distribution. That's something my dad wants me to do and I guess I'll do that a little bit if I can't get into a programming/network job right away.

I'd like to do some cg animation but I don't really have much time so I try to find books to work on it on the side, but that's about all I've done with it so far. I gotta find a Houdini book cause they have a really nice free software package that you can get some pretty decent stuff out of (of course it's all water marked, which isn't really an issue unless you're publishing the work).

Moments of Zen, hmmm, I've been told I am the Zen master for not having killed my roommate yet. N E ways

Back at home- Late night drives by myself or with a friend. When I'm with a friend we talk about anything, speed along with the top down, just doing nothing. When I'm by myself I toss down all the windows and top and blast some music depending on my mood.

College-Listening to music whenever my roommate isn't here. Also, laundry days are a great peaceful time for me, or late nights over at the womens' dorms with my lady friends.

Anywhere-Late night relaxation at the coffee shop, chatting about anything that isn't really serious. Also anytime I'm running, lifting, or playing basketball. When I'm in the zone after getting 4 strikes in a row during bowling.
