Sion: Later on in the game you can buy a bigger case, I think after the normal size there is medium, large, and extra large. I didn't buy the medium, but I did buy the large and XL.

RE:Rebirth, never heard of that. Anyways, is there any place where I can find the stories, or at least the relevant parts of the stories, for the OutBreak series. I'm not really able/wanting to buy those games right now and I would love to know what they add to the series. About cases, if you can get buy without buying the middle one you'll have a good amount extra for upgrades, but really, that all falls away once you beat it once. And FYI, do not, and I repeat, do not sell any of your magnum ammo. The magnum is, um, rediculous, yeah, that's probably the correct word. It is by far the most powerful weapon, cept for the rl, and i greatly regret not having the funds to buy it and the ammo to support it if i had the money to buy it. Ok, that's it for now. |

I sell magnum ammo. I have the Typewriter and the Infinite Launcher, so I don't really need another gun. All I have in my case are those two guns and about 20 R+G+Y Herbs. I sell everything else so I can have the cash for upgrading the Handcannon if I ever get it.

Rebirth is the RE1 remake. I think you've heard of that. The Outbreak stories are just a bunch of side stories of a group of average citizens during the RE 2/3 timeline. Translation: They add VERY little, so don't worry about it too much. I've played through the game three times already, and am pretty much just toying around with all the different guns at this point, saving my herbs and CT/IL combo for when I run out of ammo. I just killed an El Gigante with only two shots from a fully upgraded Broken Butterfly. Nice. |

Oh, ok, now I'm not so confused. I was like, how could I have missed an entire game. I'm gonna play through RE1 remake after I finish RE4, then do claire's story of RE2, RE3, and CV and Zero to finish it up. Haven't played any old REs cept Leon RE2 in a long time, gonna try to get that old RE feeling back again.

What does the typewriter do? Just save whenever? Ashley just got kidnapped by a monster and I fell in a whole. Then I was running down a hall and got my head bit off so I stopped playing. So far Im loving the game. Im taking it slow though. I play for like an hour or two a day. And I bought a mine thrower but ran out of ammo Where can I get more? Shooting people in the Crotch is fun! |

I was thinking about doing that, but hey, I'm bizarre and feel like playing the games in the order that they were made. Kinda recreating the whole store telling that I had to go through during my original play throughs. Crazy, yes, fun, definately. Also, Assignment Ada was awesome. I was like, why am I getting all these first aids and TMP ammo. The, the ending, huge boss, crazy strong, had me a lil worried, when I was down to only two first aids and 200 ammo. But alas, I beat him and the little bit of side info was great. Now I gotta work on mercenaries, does that give any bit of story like they did in Nemesis? Anyways, back to that which keeps me from RE, College. |

The hell? What boss are you talking about on assignment ada? Are you trying to scare people? The Chicago Typewriter is a gun. At tommy gun. Bang bang your dead gun. Sion I know exactly where you are. Run down the corridor, hit the buttons as they appear. When you fight it, knock over a red canister thing of C02 and blast him. Mercenaries adds nothing to the game other than Spoiler: Being able to play as Krauser, Hunk, and Wesker (edited by Kario on 02-08-05 04:29 AM) |

Not trying to scare, just saying that that boss was about 100 times harder than the rest of the enemies. Basicaly, everything leading up to that was easy as hell, and then he was difficult, not impossible, not even really hard, just difficult, especially compared to the rest of the mission. I love that part of the game, that enemy was one of the coolest bosses in the game. I loved the CO2 canister and dodging and all that, it was good times. |

For the CO2 guy, did you ever wonder why the game provides you with a rocket launcher earlier? Now you know. Makes it simple. |

I just got to the second disk. I beat the last boss on the first disk too quick. I shot the eyeball thing like 5 times with the pistol, then when the little guy popped out I shot a rocket at him and he died instantly!

Ah, going through this game the second time is so easy. At least these beginig parts. I took down a Gigantos with four shots from my trusty Killer7. Ok, really quick question, just wanna see if me and my friend really know video games as well as we think. Does the SPECIAL UPGRADE for the Killer7 cost 777,777p or are we crazy? I just have this gut feeling that, due to its name and its insane power, that that's what it's gonna cost. I don't think I'm getting me an IRL or the CTW until I upgrade all my regular weapons. I mean, I beat the game without those weapons, and it's more fun to use magnuns and shootties and stuff like that. |

There is no special upgrade to the Killer7. I guess they figured that the maxed out Killer7 was strong enough. Besides, the stock Killer7 costs 77,700 as it is. My advice? Invest in the Broken Butterfly. It's exclusive upgrade jacks up the firepower to 50.0 PER SHOT. Pretty much just point it at whatever you want to die an explosively bloody death. On a side note, buy a fully upgraded Striker your second time around if you like shottys. The exclusive gives an ammo capacity of 100, pretty much eliminating the need to carry any extra shotgun shells, since they'll most likely go right into the thing when reloading. |

Wait, the butterfly is the one with a 50 damage rating. Someone said that it was the Killer7 that had that. Well, seeing as a completely non-upgraded killer7 took down a gigantos in 4 poorly aimed shots (didn't shoot the creature coming out of it's back, used the knife on that) i'm sure when it's upgraded it'll do my bidding pretty well.

I just beat Krauser, he wasnt hard at all once I figured out his pattern and his weak spot. I only used my rifle on him. Id shoot him in his knees until he fell down and then Id shoot him in the head, after like 4 sets of these he was down. I know own: A Tactical Vest A fully upgraded Black Tail Striker-not upgraded at all 2nd Rifle (I forget the name)- not upgraded at all Mine Thrower- also not upgraded yet Rocket Launcher A like 5 Aid Sprays I used to own a TMP and a Magnum but after like 2 chapters where I found NO ammo for them I sold them back to that guy. |

Reid: If you mean the plagas that burst out of thier heads after being shot there, just keep blasting them in the head until they die. In the castle area, though, make sure you don't get too close to the greenish ones that come out of the robed cultists. They kill you in one shot. Learned that the hard way... Sion: You really don't need the mine thrower, so unless you really like it, don't bother having it around. The TMP you won't need very much after the first half of the game anyway, so don't worry about that. You also may want to get a Magnum sometime after you get to the island, since Magnum ammo becomes reletively plentiful later on. For the record, my arsenal of choice to finish the game with (for first games): Tactical Vest Handgun (Blacktail) Shotgun (Riot or Striker) Sniper Rifle (Semi Auto) Magnum (Either) (edited by Jarukoth on 02-11-05 03:12 AM) (edited by Jarukoth on 02-11-05 11:14 AM) |

Don't forget a RL for when you get sick of fighting bosses the fair way. Also, I heard the Red9 is more powerful than the Blacktail, but the Blacktail looks so much better, so I just use that. Also, definately get a magnum, even if you don't upgrade it it's at least as powerful as a fully upgraded semi-auto riffle.

Beat the game last night. The final boss was so easy. All I used was my Striker, Rifle, and a Rocket Launcher. The ending wasnt the greatest but it was satisfying and it left the door open for the next chapter of RE. |
