| Shino: "When my opponent leaves himself open to attack and raises his weapon? I think not, Leg Halt!" "Katoko! Mobilze yourself!" Through a burst of fire as he flies back to his master, Katoko transforms its body into an oversized chakram, which Shino eagerly catches. Shino: "Ladies and gentlemen, our special tonight is Legault Flambe' a la Shino, prepared Well Done. Enjoy!" Shino hurls the giant chakram at the most exposed parts of Legault's body. The chakram suddenly ignites in midflight, as if to make itself more imposing to it's intended target... ---------------------------------- Jarukoth: "Not bad, Shino. I wonder though...how long can you keep this up?" Shino: *via ComLink* "What do you mean? I'll keep fighting until time is called!" Jarukoth: "I was talking about the nicknames. | Ouch. You know those arenas are going to need repairs by the tournament... All six of Jarukoth's fictional characters, Jarukoth, Ada, Shino, Nimue, Khrone, and Kari, walk into the room, taking a brief look around the room before striding to thier master... Oh, hey guys! Glad you could make it...Whoop! Almost forgot to put the nametags on... User J: "...There. So what's up?" Jarukoth: "We...need to talk." User J: "Look, if it's about not inviting you, I really didn't know about this until just now, so..." Ada: "Oh, that's nothing. Who was the genius with the Mileena Cake idea?!? Next thing I know, that Tarkatan...SLUT... is taking my place in the post layout? WHAT. THE. HELL." User J: "Whoa! I never said this was permenant! Besides, the cake wasn't..." Ada: "I still don't..." Kari: "CAKE! WHOOOOOO!" Kari forcefully blows past everyone to get to the cake, quickly getting in line to get a slice of dessert, taking a moment to notice Mileena still inside... Kari: "...Hiya, Pinky!" |

| Passive or Agressive? Passive. I always try to avoid a problem, if possible. Leader or Follower I usually put myself into a follower role by choice. However, if nobody takes control and I know what to do, I have been known to step up to the plate. Group Size? Like NSNick said, it all has to do with the task at hand. Chatty or Silent Silent. Unless I have something to say, or I'm reeeeally relaxed/drunk. |

| Jarukoth, Ada, and Nimue all scramble into the waiting helicopter a second before realizing two of thier comrades are still missing... Jarukoth: "Oh for the love of crap..." Shino remains in the middle of the battlefield, gunfire raining down around him, searching for one particular...comrade...of importance... Shino: "Kari! Where are you? KARI!!" In his search, Shino comes across Grey, who is no doubt looking for the same thing he is... Shino goes over to Grey, and grabs his arm. Shino: "Grey! Listen, we..." Kari: "There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you two! We gotta go!" As thier vision of loveliness dashes off, Shino scowls back at Grey a bit as he runs off to join her in the helicopter... | Before Shino knows what hits him, his arms and legs are frozen in place by the chilling energy of the blade. In a brief panic, he looks up to see the second fire katana coming down at him. He braces for the worst, when the blow is interrupted by a loud CLANG, followed by yelp of pain. Legault's blow was blocked by the returning flaming chakram, which transforms back into Katoko before succumbing to the lethal blow and fading away. Shino spots the clock again. They were in the home stretch of the match. Legault had a pair of shadows that Shino had to contend with, and he was currently frozen in place. No doubt about it. It was time to use the Trump Card. Shino: "Well, I must say, this has been a rather entertaining fight. But, I'm afraid we'll have to wrap things up pretty soon..." Suddenly, Shino's body grows very dark, to the point where no light can be seen reflected off or through his body. A slight bit of jet black smoke can be eminating from his body, and those in the crowd sensitive to energy output can feel a dramatic rise in Shino's energy... Shino: "For the first time ever...Shino...in Shadow Form..." Shino smoothly slips his way out of the ice as if he was incorporeal, and stands to face Legault, drawing a pair of daggers, dripping with some green, unknown substance... "Midnight's Bane!" Shino dashes at Leagult, creating several shadowy after images of himself as he rushes to attack his opponent. Very few, if any, of the crowd could tell which one was real, and Shino would bet that Legault would have a tough time as well... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "So...you finally learned how to activate your limiter removal...I'm impressed..." | Jeff "Jarukoth" Cross was in the gardens of the DiEn HQ Complex, indulging in one of his favorite, stress relieving pastimes; stretching. It was wonderfully relaxing. The sound of the fountains, the light chirping of the birds, the green grass under his feet, all of it made for a magnificent... Khrone: "HEY! J! THE READER-THINGY IS BEEPING! GET IN HERE!" The sudden outburst send the birds flying away, and easily broke Jarukoth out of his relaxed state. Irritated, he quickly gathers his things, and runs inside. Jarukoth: "Was that megaphone really nesscessary? This had better be a big one, Rob." Khrone: "Number One; yes it was. Number Two; why don't you see for yourself..." Jarukoth hated to admit it, but he was right. The Dimensional Stability Radar had indeed picked up on a seriously large disturbance. It was rare to see such a displacement of power like it anymore, at least in DiEn circles... Jarukoth: "Do we have a visual lock on it yet?" Khrone: "We tracked it down to it's home dimension, so we should have something by now..." Flipping a switch on the radar, the screen converts to a security camera style view, searching for any lifeforms that may be involved in the disturbance. To his surprise, he sees... Jarukoth: "Janus? ...and Grey?" Khrone: "Geez, what's up thier butts? He acting like someone's trying to kill him..." Jarukoth: "...Maybe someone IS trying to kill him..." Jarukoth and Khrone stay silent for a moment, listening to the converation between the two... Jarukoth: "If this big force is after Janus, it's gotta be a major problem..." After all, Jarukoth's team would know better than any other DiEn, Janus was no pushover. For him to be that worried... It was apparent he could use some DiEn help. Jarukoth would go, but it would be best if he had some assistance. But who? Kari Chailyn was recovering from Nijote's poison, and couldn't fight. Besides, even if she was well, Grey probably didn't need any more distractions at this dire time. Shino Shadefoot was busy tending to Kari, curing her body of said poison. He seemed pretty intent on saving her, and looking at Kari, probably shouldn't (or couldn't) be persuaded otherwise... Given Ada's...condition, she was definitely in no shape for a mission. Since he had been taking care of her lately, that would mean someone would have to stay behind. He could leave either Nimue LaFaye, devout High Cleric and master healer, or... Khrone: "Hey! Did I mention I found out how to conjure a metric ton of horse manure the other day?!? Can you imagine casting that on an enemy army? HAH!" ...He may be family, but something about leaving his brother in charge of looking after his wife just didn't sit well with him... Jarukoth: "Ok, looks like the two of us are going out on this one." Khrone: "Excellent. Maybe this one will actually be a challenge, this time, eh?" Jarukoth's BioArmor instantly changes into his regular battle gear, as he takes in his brothers statement. There was little doubt in his mind that it would be. He goes over by Ada, kissing her goodbye. Jarukoth: "We have a bit of an emergency, and I have to go." Ada: "Yeah, I heard the whole thing. Janus and Grey, right?" Jarukoth: "Afraid so. I won't be long. Nimue will look after you until I get back." Ada: "Okay. Take care." Khrone opens the portal to Grey and Janus' world, and the two brothers walk through, beginning the search for thier comrades, arriving in a place they had not seen for quite some time.... Khrone: "Where are we?" Jarukoth: "Star's place. The last I saw on the radar, they were headed here. Now, all we have to do is find Janus and Grey..." |

Khrone: "Khrone." Jarukoth: "...What?" Khrone: "Call me Khrone in front of these guys. It's cooool!" Jarukoth: *sigh* "In that case, you can give us a destination, and we will retrieve the information. Or, you can take us with you to wherever you go. You seem to know a bit more about what we're up against, so it's your call how we're being distributed..." |

| Shino is about to start his next move, when he hears Shadow end the match... Shino: "Bah...not enough time to really show my new skills...Oh well." He walks out of the arena to meet Jarukoth and Ada in thier seats, waving away at Legault as he departs. Shino: "You were better than I expected, Legault. See you later..." Exiting the arena, he couldn't help but wonder what commentary Jarukoth and Ada would have for him upon his return... ------------------------------------- The skybox door creaks open, one of it's occupants finally returning after a reletively long abscence... Jarukoth: "Honey! How are you feeling?" Ada: "I feel...great." Something was different about her. She had an unusual expression of mirth on her face. It was nice, sure, but a bit confusing. Jarukoth: "...The medics gave you morphine again, didn't they?" Ada laughs a bit, rubbing her abdomen lightly... Ada: "No...It's not like that at all..." Jarukoth: "Well...then what was wrong then?" Ada: "Nothing was wrong at all." *chuckle* Jarukoth stands up, confused... Jarukoth: "Okay, I give up. What happened?" Ada: "Well, I guess you can say you did..." "J...I'm pregnant!" Jarukoth:    Jarukoth's legs give out, and he passes out on the ground, unconscious; just as Shino walks in, fully transformed out of his Shadow Form... Shino: "...Why do I get the feeling that the faint wasn't because of the excitement of my match?" |

| I noticed that the original Mortal Kombat movie isn't on that list. Why? Because it was the first seriously told the movie industry that some game based can actually work, and more or less opened the floodgates. That said: Here's my own list of critiques... Super Mario Bros.: So bad, it's pretty funny. Has a few good points. Tomb Raider: These ones were pretty good, both of the them. Resident Evil: First movie good, second a little dissapointing, but passable. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation: Okay, this one did suck. Street Fighter: Mostly sucked. End fight scene wasn't bad. FF: TSW: Dissapointing. They plain and simply dropped the ball here. Any Uwe Boll Movie: BAD. The Doom movie more or less hinges on The Rock's performance. I've found that a good cast can break through a bad director or mediocre script. With that in mind, I really hope Bloodrayne will break Uwe Boll's losing streak... |

| Jarukoth and Khrone take a brief moment to look over the picture, before Jarukoth tucks the picture away... Jarukoth: "Roger. We'll report in when we find something. Whenever you're ready, Nijote..." Jarukoth opens his portal to thier destination and enters it, followed closely behind by Khrone. He leaves the portal open for a moment so Nijote can slip through... The warriors arrive in a back alley behind a large building, so they cannot be seen. Khrone looks down the alley to the sidewalk... Khrone: "Hey! Isn't that the Walk of Fame?" Jarukoth: "...I think it is. We are in Hollywood, after all. The real trick now, however, is figuring out where to start..." |
