I don't have an MP3 player by myself, but I can strongly recommend Creative's products.
The MuVo series, flash memory players, are affordable and have a very good product good quality (thinking about getting one with 256 MB).
And you might want need to know, that the vast majority of players has only average earplugs.

In Lufia II, it is possible to use inns for free. Usually it takes money, but I didn't met the requirements (my first time though, as I usually have tons of money; along with having finished tha Ancient Cave and in total 97 hours on my counter; maybe gotta try to make a [crappy] screenshot with my cell ).

So I had 2 GP and could use the inn in Forfeit Island or any other town

Can you burn CDs with that writer in applications like Nero ?
Also ensure, you have ASPI installed on your system.

If the problem comes back and forth, check the connectors about loose cables or simply unplug the CD-RW, start your computer, shut it down and replug it again.
Usually, these drives should work even without drivers (and Windows XP also has a lot of drivers included already). Then you still can try to apply the drivers manually.

Watching sall three LotR special extended version DVDs in a row was already a pain, when it came to the last movie - four hours endless battles only

i will go to the local cinema and buy three tickets, since I watched SW: Episode I and II on release day, too, I'll do this again with Episode III. Although I was not that satisfied with the first two pre/sequels: When the huge yellow outlines of the Star Wars logo comes into the screen, the known title music is filling the room, I'll be absent-minded in the movie. That is worth doing that

It doesn''t look too bad, but when I see these sceens, I want ot have loopings, a fast hedgehog and also some non-straight ledges, like in Sonic 1 - 3 (if you used other tilesets, like pyramid tiles in FPI's hack The Second Reality Project II, it might be better).

The repetitive wall tiles also don't look that good if having a border. The rings also don't seem to be animated, since it is more than a random reason, why is there only one frame of the rings in each screen ?

Boot into Safe Mode, then access the video driver settings. Maybe it is a way too high refresh rate your screen doesn't like. In nVIDIA's configuration manager, it is possible to save the refresh fate related to a specific resolution. Then try to boot into normal mode again.
Does this happen in specific resolutions only ?

And I may count myself bigotry, when it comes to Rudra no Hihou, but I'm the only one having the name of a character from that game, apart from Sion who did not choose his name due to that game

Unlike RPG Maker itself, the RTP always was and is free, can be downloaded from many sites without signing up
I can give you the link of the main page/forum I'm acitve, there you can download the RTP. Don't worry about the German page, the RTP is the standard one and 12,5 MB in size.
http://rpg2000.4players.de/index.php?inhalt=rpgmaker

Only download that one, hands off RTP add-ons, since they may have additional graphics but are also only playable for people who have the proper add-on (and extra GFX can/should be easily imported anyway).

Grab your bookmarks, uninstall the thing and reinstall again - that's the first thing to do
If it's only the tab feature, switch to Mozilla Firefox, which is also a lot more secure, at least as fast as Crazy Browser and very convenient, due to a lot of useful extensions, which can be installed.

The same does Opera, but uses an ad banner in the free version or K-Meleon, a little lacking Firefox' convenience.

This is probably correct, both of my SMW's are 2 lined, so I'm assuming the one lined ones are older.

Maybe it's just a difference for the PAL version?

PAL carts have round corners, like seen in that image. I know, the image quality is low due to a missing camera (it's made by my cell), but shows it clearly

Peardian, search for P-switches inside that castle. They can "reveal" some nice things, and, yes, I know there are at least two of them (usually infinite, since they come back when you use doors, but that's not the question )

About SMB3:

Ice Land - I like the levels, despite the little boring NES backgrounds here with these diagonal lines; but the third mini fortress is really impressive, in Ice Land, there are hammer suits and there is that second autoscroller level 6-8, one of my most favourite levels in SMB3

I don't think that is useful. It might be better to invent something similar to a Mod Control Panel like in phpBBs.
There you can enter the ModCP, which allows you to manage several topics at once, like closing them. Simply mark the checkboxes on each page, press the button to instantly open/close/move or trash them, thus saving a lot of time, if spammers might want to bump dozens of uber-old threads.

But the thread isn't dead by any means at this time.

Exactely. Hence help threads in Hardware/Software: If someone had a similar problem and did find an old topic, he/she might want to bump that one instead (beginning like "Sorry for the bump, but I have the same problem, don't want start the same thread on my own and need help with that issue [...]") rather than posting a new topic.
The old thread might contain solutions which didn't help but the bumper tried already, now asking what options are left.

I was a moderator in another forum and didn't close topics if not really needed, too - except it went off for spamming, the creator got banned or somethingt similar.

I usually had one or two stars in reserve which I used in the Piranha Plant levels to have an easy start in there

The first mini-fortress drove me really crazy until I found the exit ("WTF, no enemies ?) - and the auto-scrolling water levels was simply a pain in the ass for someone, who had his NES and his third game ever - without a Frog Suit I lost a lot of lives until I came out alive that :O

Posted on 05-01-05 12:08 AM, in SMB3 or SMW ? Link
SMB3, definitively.
I needed one month to finish SMB3, as it was my third game ever.
SMW needed three days to finish (of course not finding all the exits when playing the first time ), okay, I got some more experience in gaming,

Especially I like the "Ahtletic" music from SMB3, which is played the first time in 1-2, along with some awesome map themes (World 1,3,4,5 and 6) or the beautiful theme when finishing the game
SMB3 simply brought a lot more ideas into the series than SMW. P-switches got introduced in SMB3, the same thing with bonus games - ignoring the bonus game in SMB2.

And, hey, the scrolling feature in SMB3 was even superior than in SMW. When you run and jump in a level (SMB3), which has a height of more than one screen, the screen already moves when you jump and move slowly.
In SMW you have to run and jump or fly to have the screen moved. When standing half between two screen borders, a small jump doesn't raise the screen; or you have to be on a (blue) Yoshi with a blue shell inside his mouth.

In a SMW hack someone hacked the game to enable the same multidirection scrolling feature. I think it was one of Anikiti's hacks, but are not sure

Errr, Kefka, of which level are you speaking ?
There were two piranha plant levels which replaced the hammer brothers in world 7, then was a regular level which had a never-ending row of munchers and a few stars.

That regular level was very easy, since it was mostly trial and error and didn't involve jumping over gaps and such.
In my one, short and anyway discontinued hack I remade a level like that: "Six Stars of Fate" - and that included six stars and tons of munchers, huge gaps, jumping between both screens in heigt, fences and other nice things - This added with no midway point and swim passage in the end - most people couldn't get past it without save states

It's our "Tag der Arbeit", which is usually a national holiday - but this year it is on a Sunday
Sadly, here in Germany there are some morons which use that day to destroy buildings, cars and do such things - especially in Berlin it is bad
Shop owners in one district put up barriers of wood and even steel to protect their existance, although groups are announced to entertain all the people, not giving people the chance to do too much damage.

On the other hand there are 25

Five levels, crappy ExGFX backgrounds, way too hard levels - and only one message box. Bleh, it was longer ago I messed with it, but for testing purposes. you may try it

It's the fourth level, already the first part in the ghost house needs some (probably well-known) trick to get through. There is a huge gap and two ghosts ... how to get past that
