FCEUxd, for mapping out Castlevania 3's data in an Excel spreadsheet.

I bet if you run those hacks in NESticle, they will work fine. NESticle ... bleh. |

It looks a fine editor, but maybe you could create a lite version of the editor, without the installer and DLLs? I have bad experiences with installers overwriting my DLLs with older versions. It's good that you moved on from making DOS editors. |

When you delete an index from the tab sheet, you could call a For loop that loops from the number of tabs down to the index, subtracting 1 from each tab's index. I don't know if you already tried it, but that seems the most logical solution.

Installers for ROM hacking utilities just seems .... wrong to me. Oh well. I installed it, and it actually doesn't run too bad. I like the effect when you scroll from screen to screen. Whether it was intentional or not, I don't know. Hopefully, we will see some Astynax hacks, as the game seems to be one of those good, overlooked NES games. Just one question though, how do I exit the about dialog? There isn't any buttons to do so. |

XP theming Visual Basic applications is a waste of time really. Some controls don't get themed properly, and it's never going to get a fix from Microsoft. I found a page on how to (probably) fix your crash: http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Code/Libraries/XP_Visual_Styles/index.asp (edited by dan on 03-16-04 08:38 PM) |

Even though I'm from Northern Ireland, I don't celebrate St Patricks Day at all. Hell, I didn't even realise that people did anything special for it, until I was like 16. To me, it just seems like a day where they wave a load of tricolours around and get drunk. I have no problems with the getting drunk part, but the whole waving of the tricolour is the part I have serious issues with. |

Um, what's the problem exactly? Or what do you want help with? It would help us answer you if told us either of these things.

It's also a good idea to disable multi-voting or whatever it is called. Anyone could wreck this poll by repeatedly voting.

You could try these functions I wrote a few years ago to do just that. You need to setup the table within the module to use it.

Yeah, on the old board, there were days where all the new threads in the ROM hacking forum were about pokemon hacking. If more pokemon threads appear, I'd be definitely for a pokemon hacking forum, especially if it would mean that I wouldn't have to see those threads.

From what I've heard, Kirby's Adventure on the NES is compressed using RLE. So working out the compression shouldn't really take that long to do.

I'm in complete agreement with DD on this one. Maybe this should be stickied or something, as it's already getting buried.

The Windows version of NESticle works under XP. Also, the RockNES X emulators can load STA files, however it can be slightly glitchy.

That could be TSA data, or the actual level data. I was often given snippets like that whilst in DES.

Why bother posting such flame bait material? It's fair to say that you haven't changed since the old board

I actually did make a script that did exactly that. But for every system going. However, it would need to be slightly rewritten, as you could easily flood a database with it

Meh, that list sucked. None of my editors were on it either. I concur with the last few posts, in that if someone asks if such an editor exists, someone tells them if it does or not. Simple. No fuss. Easy.

Is there a tile editor that supports this format? If so, you could reverse engineer the format from that, just to be sure. |
