okay, we are talking about 4 year old kids.... I really don't think they need to be educated about homosexuality at that age.... they don't even understand sexuality at that age...

I would say at least wait until about 10.... because until then kids don't care about sex....

well, I just don't think TV should be doing the teaching.... I think that is what my main objection is....

see, I personally doubt that if the vote was given to the actual population of Canada, and not the "representation".... that it wouldn't pass....

just because 150 people agree with it, that supposedly represent the views of half the population does not mean that at least half agrees with it....

and has no one realized what the conservative side wants? the conservative side wants marriage for men and women, and a "same sex union" of some sorts, that isn't called marriage, for the same sex unions....

I'm not quite sure why marriage needs to change if the conservative government will give that to same sex couples

who is at their ECW "best" anymore? WWE won't allow half the stuff that used to go on in ECW to happen.... and although TNA is more extreme.... I just don't think Raven can handle it anymore.... not to the extent that ECW did things....

that, or he's a big enough name that TNA doesn't want him hurting himself anytime soon....

DS9 was a bore! no one cares about character development.... we want action and suspense!

I'll give you that DS9 may have had best character development.... but I would not give it the best of all star treks....

all I meant is that the mormons are by far not the worst thing in the world.... nor are they a group of people that needs to be worried about....

31 Reasons to Vote "No" to Changing the Definition of Marriage

1. The government has no authority
2. to change the definition of a religious term such as marriage. They have no right to change the definition of "baptism", "communion", "bar mitzvah", "marriage" or any other religious term. Same sex marriage is not a "human right".
3. The United Nations

the thing I love/hate about this whole debate is that so far no one has really taken a look at whether marriage is ACTUALLY a right....

everyone just says it is, or should be...

but, if it is a right, then I should be able to go to city hall and demand a wife... (assuming I'm not already married)..... right?

oh, and what the conservatives have been suggesting, the civil union, was supposed to have the same rights.... marriage for hetero, civil union for homo....

saying it is natural, or something they can't control.... doesn't make it any less unnatural....

and does no one read what I say? do you people not realize that the "conservative" side is willing to give the exact same rights to same sex unions, we just don't want it called marriage.... yet you don't seem to think that is a viable option

do you actually think calling it marriage is going to make our side feel any better or worse about it?

do you think we will agree with it more because you can call it marriage? we will still see 2 men or 2 women...

and again, why are individual rights of a few trampling over the religious rights of 1000 times as many

denial of what rights?

the right to marry".... I don't see marriage as a right.... I don't have the right to get married.... I have the privilage maybe.... but not the right

why does it have to be called marriage?

Math: you are exactly right....

I really don't like the idea of walking down the street with a married friend and having people look at me and think that we might be married....

there are already instances cited earlier of how religious rights are already being violated.... read earlier posts....
