I think the castle door is a sprite, not an object that goes with the castle piece.

Solution: Use EXGFX

It is a Save State, and the Save States are stored in whatever folder of the ROM the Save State is in.

How about a set of blocks that act like exit enabled pipes after all the sprites on the screen are gone? For example, if there were three Goombas on the screen, and you defeated all of them, the Pipe would activate and allow you through.

The thought crossed my mind to use wings, but think about how they would look when she's standing still... Maybe if you use a Raccoon Mario Patch...

It looks like you've found a way around it, but the cape is set to lower itself when you are standing still. Therefore, the wings would lower when you stand still, making them look weird.

It looks awesome! But I'm curious...what are you going to do about the Kuribo's (spelling) Shoe? Its required to get underneath the blocks that have the 1-up due to the fact there are munchers there. You could use Yoshi, but they can't hurt you and you can only have one per level...

The Hammer Brothers and Chain Chomp look awesome. Great job.

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, but I don't know enough ASM.

Alright, I admit it. I read the first few paragraphs of the ASM tutorial and stopped. Then I got caught up in school and didn't have enough time.

Hmm...I just got an idea for a use of this: It could be used in a Mario 2 styled hack where you must defeat Birdo (probably just a Pitching Chuck with different graphics) to enter the Eagle Head and reach the Goal Post.

I feel like I'm making too many topics, but I need to know this. In some of the castles in my hack, I'm making lava that floats in the air, but it looks ugly. I need the lava GFX number so I can make my lava look better when floating. And yes, I've already checked here.

Mine works perfectly in ZSNES, so I don't see why it would be a bad dump...

Anyways, I'll check out the version with Super Mario World and see if that works. Thanks for the help.

Woah! I encountered something very similar glitch in Rob-omb's Quest (I believe it can be found in the finished hack data base)! I dropped the black Chogiby (Different Yoshi Sprite that is the same as red Yoshi) down a hole, and crossed the goal tape. On the overworld, it showed Mario riding random garbage tiles. When I started the next level, I started with a white Chogiby that had the powers of the Orange Chogiby (Yellow Yoshi). In fact, it may have had all the powers, but I didn't think to check. I ended the level and he was gone.

I was thinking...Mega Mole is ridable so why not have a Banzai Bill that can be ridden? I don't know enough ASM to pull it off on my own, but does anybody have a good solution on how to do this?

And I already tried MWR. The game froze when I jumped on the Banzai Bill.
